Why would you want a Westinghouse over this? They get very poor reviews for the most part.

Because it's an LED. This is an LCD. I wouldn't touch a 60hz LCD at this point without seeing it in person first. There's a lot of terrific looking LCD screens, but so many places are pushing out inventory of 3 year old LCD panels with black levels that look like crap. If it's an LED, it's going to look acceptable at very worst. If we were talking about a name brand vs. a Westy, it might be one thing...but Sceptre and Westinghouse are basically buying their stuff from the same place and slapping their logo on it.

I bought a 26" Westinghouse from Target and then another it was so good. 1080 and I have basic cable with no box, the W picks up more channels (including the HD's) than my Samsumg, Proscan and Sanyo...
I also have a Sceptre 46 inch 1080, very good picture

I bought my mother in law a 24" Westinghouse LED from Target. It is pretty good, especially for the price ($189 last year)

Uhm, hate to break it to you, but "LED" TVs ARE LCDS TOO. They just have an LCD backlight, instead of a CCFL. Which means that they last longer, and may save power compared to the other, but it doesn't actually improve picture quality in any noticeable way. Some people feel that they don't have as wide a color gamut as a CCFL backlight.
