Beware...this is a relatively slow SSD...look at the specs before making the decision. I would only consider Vertex 3 or Vertex 4...But it really depends on what you use it for. To some it may be sufficient.

Horrible SSD drive. Had to RMA two of these! Go Crucial SATA III.

agreed. Had it, it is no faster than a regular platter drive, with less warranty and according to reviews less reliability (Though I didnt see the reported problems in the 90 days it was here). I would not recommend it as anything but an inexpensive single purpose laptop base drive. (WHich is what we used it for, work machine that ran 1 program only). At this price its cheap enough to deal with. But for just a few dollars more you can get a much faster, much more dependable drive in either platter OR ssd...so buyers choice on this
