I also signed up and it says it expires in a year and I did turn off auto renew.
I did have to add the .02 filler before it would take the credit card.

Grabbed one. Invoice says: "Promotion: Get SHOP YOUR WAY MAX now...FREE for 3 months!", but info in my account says it expires 05/2013....Nice, I suppose. Will be hard to beat Amazon Prime....

At least you have the option to turn off auto-renew. Can't say that for many other offers. Thanks for the post.

I was charged total $0.04 after I added $0.02 filler and the free Shop Your Way Max membership with MAXFREE4. The membership is $79.00 and after promotion code is $0.02. But don't know it can last for a year or 3 months. I didn't see any information about my Shop Your Way Max membership under My Profile > About Me > Clubs. Does anyone know it? Thank you.

The coupon code you entered doesn't apply to the items in your order. See Details.

Can't seem to get any of these links to work from my mobile phone and there appears to be no access to full site. Frustrated.

When you get the confirmation email it will have the expiration date listed. Also turn off your auto renewal. I paid the .02 with my Shop Your Way Rewards points. I also used a prepaid credit card to put on file just incase something goes wrong. I always keep a prepaid VISA card with 50.00 on it for Sears and Amazon. You can never be too safe. If you are using Sears charge you are covered on their website.

i was already a "standard member". did this dealthis morning but don't see it reflected anywhere when i log in. strange... They sent me an email about a week or two aho to join shipadvantage for $0.79. thanks OP, saved me $0.77
The promo code discounts the item to 2 cents, so no filler is required. I used my ShopYourRewards points to pay for the 2 cents, though as posted I did have to still put my credit card in. Under My Clubs it showed me as a member of ShipAdvantage for 1 year with AutoRenew on. I turned Autorenew off. We'll see if this sticks.

i joined over the weekend. got charged .02 and got the order confirmation email. nowhere in the email does it mention the expiration date. i've clicked every link in the shopyourway site and nowhere do i see "clubs" in my profile or an expiration date.
i was already a shopyourway rewards member and nowhere on the site does it show i now have the max membership. did anyone with an existing shopyourway membership get their membership changed to the max membership?

i am in the same boat as you. I am existing SYW member. On the website I have no indication of MAX or shipadvantage anywhere, but if i try to buy it again it says that I already have all the benefits and can't buy another.
luckily i used an prepaid AMEX gift card that only had $0.63 left on it, so i'm not worried about the auto renew kicking in without them contacting me first.

You should be able to find the information. I found it at Sears.com/My profile/About me/Clubs. You can find the My profile at up right corner under logout link.

Found it, thanks. i was looking under my Shopyourway.com account page, not under the Sears account page. You'd think they'd figure out a way to put it together.
thanks, auto renew deactivated!

To turn off AutoRenew , go to www.sears.com and login to your account. Once logged in, click on My Profile --> Personal Info and it'll by default take you to the "About Me" tab --> Personal Info section. The 3rd section on the right is the CLUBS section. Click on it and you'll see the "Shipvantage" club with expiration date and "Turn Off Autorenew" link. Hope this helps.
