I have these. Work really well. Might get a few more for the side of the house.

They are pretty fantastic I must say. Got 3 more sets last time. Will have to fight not to pull trigger again.

Replaceable AAA battery sold it for me, in for a set.

How is this set compare to the WestingHouse at 1SaleADay today:

Ni-Cd vs Ni-MH Batteries. Other than that, they look pretty similar.

How about 10 for $19.99 shipped ?

Another Choice

Nice, was just saying it was about time to replace the ones I have. Like that I can replace the batteries easily with this set

Product looks fine, but the seller doesn't.

Just ordered my second set! Anyone know a good place to buy replacement batteries for these lights ???

Try some Eneeloops or something like that.

Here is a set of 10 rechargable AAA solar batteries. Will also need a charger if you don't have one.

Haha....Nice one. Will do that on the next one.

So the problem I run into with solar lights is that where I need the light doesn't get much sun. I've only seen one total light with a detached solar panel and it was poop. I keep thinking I should buy these and just take the solar panel out and remote it but it seems more effort than it's worth. Anybody have any great ideas or know of a good product for such a beast?

I share this frustration. I would need about a 100 foot cord too!

$19.99 at Amazon and Buy.com.

The usage is very different than most consumer electronics, with a nightly cycling from at most 400mAh to near 0 mAh. More likely it'll be a partial charge like 300mAh. So a stock 800mAh Eneloop would only get charged to 50% and run down to ~0% (trust me, it'll quickly drain down to that range even if you charge them up first). That's not very good for an Eneloop cell. Best to stick with NiCd cells that don't mind being drained to 0% regularly.

I've purchased from Heartland and had a good experience. I think it was a wired low voltage landscape lighting set that has been working great for the past few years.

I got these and feel they are worth the sale price but they aren't as bright as I had hoped. Subjective, I know, but I thought they'd light up more of an area than they do.

don't forget FC

There was a similar post a few weeks ago and someone mentioned that solar lights in DollarTree ($1/each) may come from the same manufacturer with the same quality. I checked my local DollarTree store and was told that new shipment will come around 4th July.

i saw a bunch of these for 99c in targ3t all the time.... pretty soon they're giving these all away for nothing.

thanks op, my mom was just complaining about her current set of solar lights. hopefully these will be better than the crap she bought before.

It may be bad luck but 3 of mine arrived broken. I agree, they do look and feel cheap.

Thanks OP!

Already have a bunch.....In for 2 more packs....

Thanks OP

In for 100 packs. I have a large backyard, and always wondered what it would be like to simulate a night-time runway.

Here's to not drawing any 'official' attention!

In for 2. thanks OP.

How do these distribute light? I picked up some costco garden solar lights, and I am not too happy with them. They send out rays light in directional paths, so it looks like each light is surrounded by 40 dots of light, instead of spreading the light out, if that makes sense. I'd buy these if I knew that they just gave off a glow/

Thanks OP..In for 3 sets

Thanks OP, in for 2 sets.

Still I think I'm in for 2 sets.

Awesome deal!Does AAA battery as backup energy?

I got a set last month on sale. Just got two more for the mother in law and myself.

Thanks, OP!

From what I've read, the NiCd batteries in garden lights don't work so well since because of NiCd's memory effect, and they never reach full charge from these solar chargers.?

Also why don't they use AA? The lighting would last longer. Maybe because the percentage of charge it gets would be even less than AAA?

I put an Eneloop in one & it's doing just fine.
