I thought someone could use this! With the 12month interest free (with Sears Card) and the 2.5% FW CashBack it is a good deal if you need them.

Wonder why the washer is 3.4 cf and the dryer is twice that at 6.0 cf? Shouldn;t they handle the same load?

That is typical, the dryer needs more space to fluff the same load of clothes.

It's like a refrigerator's cu. ft. anyway: the numbers don't mean much.

If you buy only the gas dryer ($399), you can use coupon SEARS35 for $35 off.

I wouldn't say that. How else would you compare?

Is this a $299 washer or a $299 washer marked up for the "sale"?

Does anyone have a receipt they can post so I can see if maybe I can get it for the same price now? They're coming up over $900 now so if there's a chance I can convince them to give me the deal, it would be awesome.

Got in on this deal with the Gas dryer. Dryer was making banging noises the first time it was turned on. Called Sears for warranty service and a guy came out and fixed it today. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Oh and on the motor of the dryer, there is a small sticker that says "Assembled in Mexico". On the box of the dryer, it is printed "Assembled in USA". I'm probably thinking that all the pieces are from China, sent to Mexico for assembly and then the unit shipped to the United States to be boxed. I should just take it with me to Japan, put a smiley sticker on it, and then I can say it's Assembled in Japan.
