They are obviously running promotions with various MLB teams offering 50% off when the team scores some number of runs. For the NY Yankees, it's 6 runs and the code is YANKEES6. It should be running all season, so someone really should create a single thread and not keep posting new threads.
I always post this little trick in Papa John's threads.
If it only works on regular priced items there was a trick I used in the past that would let you the coupon with some of their deals. Breadsticks were $5.99, but only $4 is you bought a pizza. It would not let you do the $4 one because you couldn't "combine deals". If you waited till checkout it would recommend you items to add to your order. The $4 breadsticks was one of the recommendations, and if you added it then you could combine it with the coupon. I ended up getting a large 5 topping pizza, breadsticks, and chicken strips for under $15 delivered.
These PJ deals can vary from city to city...so without putting which city (Southeast Kansas covers quite a large area)..it tells little.

In some cases, you might also find that there is a discount for a second pizza of the same size. In my case, two extra large are first for $15, second for $12, before the 50% discount. Papa points are 1 per $5 total post tax, so dropping in a couple 2 liters (also at discount) can help bump the total a buck or two as needed.

Hit or miss in the Northwest Indiana / Chicago South Suburbs area, but I was able to find a few locations where it worked.
I don't know if this is a normal Papa John's thing or what, but I find that if I add two pizzas, the second one shows up as half price BEFORE the 50% off code is applied. So I'm seeing my first XL Works pizza come up as $19.25, the second one come up as only $9, and then the total cut in half for a grand total of $15.13 after tax for the entire order. Nice deal!
