Shopping for a new video card for Diablo 3 and see the 6870 in a good deal after all rebate and discounts on CompUSA.com. The performance is not bad compare with top of the line HD6970, and a lot cheaper. Anywhere else is the card is running $170+. It'll run my Diablo 3 fine. .

It is a listing from re-branded tiger-direct (it owns CompUSA website). This company was sued few times already for cheating customers with rebates

If the rebate was through TD/CUSA, I would agree, but it's through XFX (via 4myrebate.com) so there should be no worries on the rebate.

Thanks OP.

Simply for comparison, CompUSA also has the same card with two games (Shogun 2 and Dirt 3) for ten bucks more here.

They don't appear to carry the "DD" version of the card, which has two cooling fans and runs quieter than the posted model.

They also have a 2 gig version here for $179 AR. Might be useful for someone with a high-res, big monitor.

The 6k series is definitely dropping in price with the 7k series having been out a while now.

How did you get the idea that XFX has any connection with the domain 4myrebate.com? It looks like a cheap domain probably registered by "TigerDirect.com" in order to unify rebate processing from multiple domains they own.

I didn't have any problem getting rebates from XFX before.
