Finally something easy to cash out some accumulated rewards.

not overly easy. QuickBooks requires registration and customer number as part of the rebate process. Takes a little time to jump the hoops. BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS carefully, this is NOT an easy rebate in the literal sense and Staples sense of the words.

I did the QuickBooks Simple Start iStaples easy rebate in mid-February and it was simple then-submit online via easyrebates & I selected get check rather than prepaid Visa card. I timely got the check and still have not yet opened the Simple Start software (I use an older, more fully featured version of QuickBooks).

I do know on other QuickBooks rebates I have had to jump through the hoopes of installing, registering (thus getting spammed to death by Intuit), etc. so check the fine print FOR THIS OFFER carefully.

right, preliminary info is...this is A MAIL IN REBATE and likely will require many more steps than the easy rebate process.

What stinks here is that all the $25/$75 coupons from clicking on some ad banner a month or so ago expire on the 9th.

LetsGoMets1 said:   What stinks here is that all the $25/$75 coupons from clicking on some ad banner a month or so ago expire on the 9th.YMMV on cashier acceptance, but it should still work on 6/10 (and maybe 6/11).

You still have to pay taxes, right?

not if you're paying with rewards.

If this is the Mail-in Rebate, it requires you to register & set up the online account and enter your Company ID# on the rebate form. I know this because I went through it with Office Depot earlier this year. If this isn't an SER, I'd stay away unless you have to cash in rewards or need it.

Thanks for clarifying, no SER, so may skip -- thx for headsup, but yes $40/month accumulates so need an outlet soon.

Know how many allowed -- just 1 ?

yes, this has historically been a limit 1 type Software. I don't expect it to change for next week.

isnt this online subscription software - like it expires in a year? is it really worth it to even start using this??

gokartsrus said:   isnt this online subscription software - like it expires in a year? is it really worth it to even start using this??

LOL...trust me. most people buy this for the rebate, not to use the actual software.

The jumping through hoops might be the standard for QB rebates, as OD has instituted these req's on their last couple of QB rebates. It is hard to understand why the manuf. wouldn't be satisfied if we sent in the upc along with the serial number, which would essentially make it impossible for us to sell or return the product.

Return, yes. Sell? Hardly.

What's the double ink recycling thing? It says on their website $2 per cartridge.

What's the deal you are talking about?

Thank you!

come on jimmywalt, you've been around long enough to know. title says "deal continues" meaning it's a continuation of the previous weeks' deal. see 6/3-10 Staples thread for your answer.

No store would accept a return on a product that's been opened and they certainly won't accept a missing upc.

Pretty sure he means "Yes, that would prevent you from returning it. But it would hardly prevent you from selling it."

Hasn't QuickBooks been an EasyRebate in the past? Kinda annoying that it's not this time. I haven't been to Staples in a month... gonna go in today to drop off my ink cartridges, but I've been very disappointed in the deals lately. I may do this one, just go cash out some rewards and gift cards.

yes it has, but the change is likely not Staples fault. QuickBooks started the extra steps on their Office Depot rebates in the last 2-3 months as well. Last QuickBooks easy rebate was back around the holidays.

I must be an idiot; I recycled 20 carts (Premier) 6/2/12. Any way I could still get double credit? Could chat with Premier support help?

Yay! <3 QuickBooks!!

To get $4 per recycled ink cartridge one would have had to buy at least $50 (net after coupons and rewards) worth of HP ink. So if you recycled 20 ink cartridges without having bought the $50 worth of HP ink, you are out of luck.

I remember I was able to talk a customer service rep into refunding the 20 cartridges and doing a rebuy so I could also buy the $50 worth of ink on that same day. YMMV

You can redo using my account.....will make you feel better !

I know when I did the generic HP recycle deal, the kid at the counter coded it as the regular recycling item number, and when I looked at the receipt after getting back to my office, I noticed. I stopped in on my way home and went to a different person who knew that there was a different item number, and he said there wasn't a way to undo recycling that he knew of, so he just went ahead and credited me for the 3 HP generics, and I got to keep my regular 3 cart credit too.

TL;DR - I don't think you will have much luck, but I would try contacting the rewards people anyhow.

ad is up with 100% FARewards Staples 4gb micro relay USB

FAR McAfee (MIR though)

Also, the 15% savings card is back (the one where you need to buy it first for $10) nothing in fine print when i mouse around it, though...

the Far McAfee s/b a new offer #. Current one ends Saturday. (unless it's extended)

New McAfee is 1PC, not 3PC for this week's offer. Wonder if they are considered the "same product" for rebate purpose.

HP photo paper $9.99 - $8.99ER = $1

yes, good catch. they are considered different products. FYI, I've submitted some McAfees more than once this year on these Staples deals, and they've been paid w/no issues. YMMV of course, but for the Staples MIR's, they don't seem to be enforcing the one rebate per year per title rule.

Is there a circular available for next week. i am looking for a point and shoot camera

Any rebate issues when rewards and coupons are used?

I don't see it in the PDF, but watch out for the "rebate reduction feature".

it's not that the discount card will reduce the rebate, but more like the rebates will all have the "upto" wording from now until 9/15.
