A couple of potential problems. (1) In my county motorized bikes and scooters are regarded as "motor vehicles". That means they must have proper lights, turn-signals, etc to be driven on public roads. Once properly equipped, they can be driven on non-highway roads by someone with a valid automobile license, or (at age 14) by someone with a motor-bike license. (2) Because they are regarded as motor vehicles, the driver (or parents of the driver) can be charged with driving a motor vehicle on the sidewalk, which might require some explaining to your insurance company. I found out about this when I bought motorized scooters for my sons a few years ago. Having said that, these could be a lot of fun in jurisdictions that allow them, or on private property with permission. In fact for 99 bucks, you might want to get one as a future Christmas present and hide it. You'd then have a few months to figure out where to ride it.

Bike could very well be $99... only there aren't any left even before it was posted. Was available at all 10 BBs near me ~3am and for ages after, and now they have all updated to unavailable, but price still listed at $99.

These were first "available" in every store (including the mobile ones) and then not available in any. I've never seen one personally in the store (much less a mobile store one)...so obviously this was a listing error.
Quite cute this became a "Best Deal"..that no one could have ever got.

I received a confirmation that my order went through and that the product was available at my local BestBuy store. Next day I received another email that the product was no longer available at my local BestBest but if I would call their toll free number they would ship it to me for free. When I called they said that they had no more in stock and that they do not offer rain checks on online orders.
Can they do that? Confim that your order went through with the product you requested and then not offer you a rain check for not being able to supply the promised product?
