I am pegged as a reseller, both instore (only one is near me) and online.... However online orders will cancel then I do another and it goes through. So far, 2 separate orders for this Dell, 2 diff BB accounts, 1 for delivery and 1 for store pick up.... If they cancel they give this reason "has been cancelled because we were unable to verify your information."
Store people allow me to have 1 order a day for store pick up.... And only 1 item on it..... All BS, they hit the CC but never finalize it....
However I do have friends to buy instore.....

How does AMD Athlon II X2 compare to Intel Core i3? Can this AMD processor chip be upgraded to faster AMD processor later on? Or am I stuck with this slow speed processor?
Confirmed with Best Buy CS...order went through and will be delivered to my local Best Buy store on June 13th.
FYI: There is 30 days return policy but must call Best Buy for a return shipping label. It's not an item that can be returned at a local Best Buy store since it's not a stocked item.
Micro Center has this computer for $420 plus tax. But the reviews at their website show more negative rating. Seems like lot of people are complaining about HD going dead. So I hope my order won't be a lemon.

We have this exact computer for my son--he just turned 8, got the computer for his 7th bday. I have to say that it runs much, MUCH faster than I thought it would. He plays alot of games on it--both by downloading or online and we have not had a single problem with it. The touch screen is great for him, and there are times I go in and play on it just to use the touch screen! I am thinking about getting one of the new all-in-ones with the i7-just because I was so impressed with THIS one. Hope this helps!

Reviews at Dell's website are pretty grim. A lot of hard drive and motherboard failures after a few months of ownership. Could be heat related problems, as ventilation can be tricky in these types of machines.

Last time when they sold Samsung Bluray home theater for an outrageous price (sold $119.00 vs $599 online price), I almost withdrawn my order with a feeling that they would take legal action once the corporate figured the prices on my account

Do you know if there are 4 screw holes in the back for mounting? I don't see it in the photos. Would be nice if I can mount this on wall with a swing arm.

I got this deal last October 2011, and 1 thing bad is once in a while the screen just turns blue or black. You have to do a reset by press and holding the power button for couple of seconds. It happened after week of purchase. Remember that software is not included in the Warranty. I called Dell support and you need to enroll in there 1 year software warranty for $249.00 which I declined. Every now and then like once a week its doing this but I got used to it, otherwise its a good deal.

What in the world is a software warranty. I have never heard of suck a thing. 250.00 on a 250.00 PC would be highway robbery anyway.

FYI just some prospective on the pricing...Sams Club sells this exact same Dell AIO 2305 model. It has been on clearance priced at $449 for some time now and still should be available at many local Sams. The 2305 has been replaced at Sams with the 2320 which is the improved model with a Intel i5 2305 version for $599.

Hitting them daily for 2 or 3 laptops 2 to 3 times a week and then over to the store pick up for more... Always buying sale items and never any extras.

Nice looking unit. Almost pulled the trigger. There are two down falls for me. First, the benchmark speed is only 1594. Compare this to the slowest I3 that is still available for purchase 1994 benchmark. Most of the I3 are around the 3000 range. The other thing to be aware of is the ram. It's only upgradeable to 8gb. That said, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better all in one computer for the price. I just tend to keep my computers for a while so I want to get something a little faster with more memory capeability so I'm not looking for another desktop in two years.

You got to be kidding? Blacklisting "devil" buyers. So they expect the people line up and pay at their highest prices and never ever to do returns? What a crack up. Perhaps BB shouldn't be in the retail biz. Oh wait, that might just happen. =)

Ok so lots of talk, but I got one...really not sure now. I do not want a slow computer...I need the pros and cons, so i can cancel while I still can. I do not understand what i have to get from Dell??? I understand Microsoft office is not included but what else?? Help with some education keep or wait for better.
