The CEO of Domino's Pizza was on Jim Cramer's Mad Money today and mentioned that the company would have a promotion offering 50% off all online orders next week to celebrate surpassing the $1B online sales mark.

50% off of regular prices is still double the existing coupon prices. Meh.

Thanks for the heads up. Although menu prices are indeed quite high and don't stack up against the coupons, this allows us to have more variety in what we order for a reasonably fair cost.

If it includes sandwiches and sides, it is a hot deal.

I tried their artisan pizzas the last time this deal was around. They barely dusted the thing with cheese and I had a hard time identifying most of the toppings besides the peppers which they overloaded. The chicken pieces were smaller than marbles and I couldn't even tell there was sausage on the other.
I'd say I got 25% or less than what is pictured on their web site. Normally it's more like 50-75%.
EDIT: bottom line...I paid half and got half the toppings. BOO to you Domino's!!! This was on Eisenhower Blvd. Harrisburg, PA

Americans love pizza, all kinds of pizza, thin crust, thick crust, stuffed crust, deep dish, Chicago style, New York style, you name it. On average we consume approximately 23 pounds of pizza per person per year. That's right 23 pounds!

Yeah I got one for free from FartBook and I felt like I should have gotten a refund for my gas money to get it. It was at best two hot pockets worth of food, if you like to calculate portions based on hot pockets which I do.

I got one for each of my personalities. They were "OK" (tasted pretty good, for the most part) but I'd take a Totino's pizza over a Domino's artisan any day, and for $5 less. I hear ya on the Hot Pocket comparison...
I'm sure there will be something worth buying @ 50%, but I honestly am partial to Papa John's nowadays since they make a better pizza overall and they have better deals more frequently.

Does the Domino's deal apply to any online order placed across the country? It sounds like it is - I did not realize the company was growing as much as it was! We may be eating pizza next week! Thanks for the share!

Pizza quality varies greatly between franchisees. I'm good friends with the guy who owns one of the stores in my area and he makes fantastic pizzas (not just special for me, but for all of his customers). I actually prefer the pizzas he can make over non-chain/authentic pizzerias!
Unfortunately, the rest of the stores in the area are owned by someone else. This other guy bonuses his managers for going through less cheese and meat toppings for a given number of pizzas, hires employees who are indifferent about product quality, and simply makes crappy pizzas. When I want pizza I either go elsewhere or (if I want Dominos) drive across town to my friend's store to make sure I get something I'll enjoy!

Both Papa John's & Domino's do a great job in my area, no complaints lately. When Papa John's does there 50%off, I usually grab a couple 50 pc wings if we are having a get-together... Thx OP, will check em out!

I am on their website now and I don't see any half price specials at all. Is there a coupon code that we have to enter to get the pricing?

I hope artisan pizza's qualify. I won a free artisan pizza on facebook and I complained since every location in my area would not accept the code for the free pizza so they mailed me a GC. 50% off now sweetens the deal to use it.

Well if you take time to taste it instead of "tasets it" you might like it.
Thanks dude... I updated the original post with the information; the coupon was displayed for me when I visited 'dominos.com' so I'm going to assume that it's visible for everyone now (the deal is nation-wide).

I did check and the link works... but you need to be signed in at 'dominos.com' first (the link will otherwise prompt login but won't result in a coupon being added to your order). Also, a line was added to the original post after 'oxygenmm' mentioned the link (to make mention of the link not being necessary) but if you are placing an order for the first time you need to add the coupon to your order.
PS: To my knowledge you need to add the coupon even if you already have an account... feel free to correct me on that...

I also got the Artisan pizzas, just like I did last time. Great deal, and if you're worried about them skimping on meat, just pony up the 50 cents to make it extra. I don't think I've ever had a pizza with that much chicken...

If you are into toppings, try selecting ExtravaganZZa FeastŪ. it's 8 (9 including extra cheese) toppings and you can swap toppings. Delete black olives and add extra pepperoni or beef if you want. $8.50 for an x-large 8/9 topping seems decent.

I am not sure why the people disliking dominoes pizza are getting so much red. Around me within 5-10 miles, we have an Extreme Pizza, Dominoes Pizza, Garlex Pizza, Amicis Pizza, Zpizza, Pizza Hut, Round Table, Little Caesars, New York Pizza, Zachs Chicago Pizza, and a few other artisan pizza places.
With the amount of variety, and the amount of non-major-chain pizza joints, it is hard to ever go to Dominoes pizza when you have so many choices, and many are significantly better tasting. It is a bit like saying "Bud/Miller/Coors is on sale, BOY they are great!"
For those that are saying they like Dominoes pizza a lot, do you have a huge variety of pizza places around you?

I think I had $7.99. Though today it seems as though they raised the regular menu prices.
Example: I got XL pizza yesterday for $8.50 (before tax). Same pizza is now $10. Shameful.

If you want to save $$ & are ordering over 3 toppings, Order the "Pacific Veggie Pizza" and change the toppings. It is 9 topping pizza at a deal price and you can change the toppings.
