Got one, that's a good price, you couldn't buy the wire and ends and make one for that price. Thanks for the find.

I agree!!! I think people are not realizing that this is 12 gauge which is good for 15 amps. Great deal!!!

I didn't get the add'l 15%, but seems like a great deal nonetheless.
Also, I noticed it showed in stock for a couple seconds then it said out of stock. Make sure you add t o your cart quickly or it may dissappear from inventory. If it does, just refresh the page. I found that fixed it.

Green for the instructions, but no go with my local Sears on the power cord.

Hopefully they won't get cancelled like the 25ft ones did last week.
Agree great prices for a 12GA cord.

same here. i've been "collecting" a lot of tools lately, and here's one more. though this will actually go into use when I get it.
thanks OP. saw it when I was browsing a butcherboy deal, but guess I needed a FW thread to force me over

Thanks nave74. Ordered a couple. Now let's see how long it takes Sears to send the pickup confirmation. My last order took 3 days. Of course, at this price, I don't mind waiting, especially since I won't need them until Thursday. This is a great price.

I called my local Sears and asked if these extension cords were Craftsman brand and they said they weren't, so, I cancelled my order.

just to those who might be on the fence, I got my pick up order in 20 minutes after I ordered mine. Drove to my Sears and while this isn't a "Craftman" brand which frankly doesn't mean what it used to this is a well made extension cord and would sell for $40 plus at any hardware store you would see it in. The cord jacket is nice an thick yet very flexible. The back of the package does saw 12 AWG so that means they are using international standard for 12 gauge wire. If I had a spare plug laying around I'd cut it open to see the wire quality but I don't so I'll have to go with what the package says. Mine was manufactured in Indonesia which is usually a bit better than China. I do own some very good made in the USA extension cords and this one on the outside at least seems comparable. The Cord lock may be a gimmicky thing that gives out fast but like I said before you can't buy 50 feet of outdoor extension cord and make your own for $20 so if the lock thing does break I'll cut the end off and put a heavy duty end on it.

The ready for pickup e-mail came 10 minutes after I placed the order. As toddsage mentioned, these appear to be decent cords. Mine were also made in Indonesia, and have decently thick jackets. Just going by weight, they are significantly heavier than my cheap 50 foot 14/3 cord.

Interesting...This morning the product link did say "Craftsman" in the title and now it just says "Pushlock 50' Power Chord". Does anybody who picked it up see "Craftsman" on the chord itself? In the pic, if you zoom in you can see it there. Just curious, seems the quality is still pretty good from what people have said. Picked up 2 myself for gifts.

Follow the directions closely, you have to put it in your court through their club.
The cord does not say craftsman that I can see. It has all the normal temp range and wire size that's all.

the 2 closest stores to me say "Available in 56-58 days at......" and "Available in 62-64 days at........." for in-store pickup.
i really want the 25' 12-ga cord but none of the stores near me have it available to order.

I just picked mine up from the local Sears. They are made by Coleman Cable Inc aka CCI. Per the Sears website they are GUARANTEED FOREVER, so it's a great buy. Not the Craftsman brand as the OP stated but a similar warranty.

In the same list of tools, they have a good deal on a 50' 14awg extension cord. Save 5 bucks or so if you don't need 12awg.

i actually picked up the craftsman power cord for $21 at another Sears store back in june and found a husky 12-ga at a yard sale so i have plenty of cords for my generator.
