Looks like 100 is the limit per order. Looks like you can place multiple orders. (Before I get bashed for being greedy, they are for the kids in my school where 64% of our students live in poverty-stricken homes and neighborhoods....If you order extra, consider donating to your local public school).

The reason why you get bashed for ordering excessive amounts isn't just about greed... it's about throwing a huge red-flag to the company that they've made a price mistake.
In other words, you've just blown a trumpet to the company and they are, without a doubt, going to be canceling everyone's order.
(I will post a formal apology if you receive your 200+ posters.)

Normally, it is about greed. In this case, (covering so many items/and has been available for quite some time now)..it has no chance of seeing the light of day...no matter what the motive is.

My gut feeling is that the guy collects 5/100/15cents from everybody and then disappears without shipping anything!

I thought it was great. My wife's response: I'm not putting posters up all over the place like a teenager.
Definitely a price mistake. Let's see if they ship.

(I will post a formal apology if you receive your 200+ posters.)If you are convinced that it's a price mistake, and you are still trying to take advantage of it, then it's akin to stealing. If you were not stealing, you wouldn't care if the company became aware via a red flag.
It's a shame that you'd rather the company lose a lot via "everyone's order", just so your greedy self can get a discounted item you probably don't even need or want.
What is this world coming to?

I agree with your wife! I don't understand everyone wanting this (except the idea of giving it to school kids) but to each their own. Do you guys REALLY have framed posters on your walls for your interior decorating?
I don't understand it but Good Find OP! Green for you, even though the deal is dead.

This is an excellent point. To start, I'm not convinced that it's a price mistake; and I ordered 1 poster to donate to an orphanage that was recently damaged in a fire. But even IF it is a price mistake, I'm not sure that this is akin to stealing. If you are at a rummage sale and you see a Picasso that's priced for $2, is it stealing if you buy it knowing that it's worth $10 million? If you say without ambiguity that a price mistake is stealing, I would respond that we differ in the definition of stealing and that it's okay if we disagree. But I know a lot of orphans that will be very sad not to have the picture of 3 birds in a tree if this doesn't go through.
I hope this restores some of your faith in humanity in the sense that my actions are 100% altruistic and that there is some ambiguity in the situation such that you can feel reassured of the moral aptitude of man.

I don't think that it is a pricing mistake. They have over 20,000 posters, hundreds of them under $3 and over 100 at least 70% off. Looked like a sale on a relatively small percentage of their posters to me. If it was a mistake, they'll cancel the orders. No harm done.

Simple understanding of business costs and the postal system would say otherwise. If they are able to create, print, pack and pay shipping costs on an item....all for a penny...please let me know how to invest in that company...since their growth would be endless.

The same could be said about any of the deeply discounted items posted on FW, many of which are sold below cost. Such loss leaders are commonly used to drive up business in general (ETA: or clear inventory). Again, if is was a mistake they'll cancel the orders so no harm done either way.
42 poster styles x (many orders) x (multiples of each print orders) = a lot of red ink.
Your "hope" theory is cute...and sometimes works on small scale orders..but when it's on a large scale, over a fairly lengthy period (in price mistake terms)....the chances are miniscule, at best.
fivetalents said: I am interested to see if anyone's orders get cancelled as that would add some data.
They'll come..but on the larger scale order like this one...the seller usually takes a while since they go into a crisis mode to try to figure out if they can wig out of it. They are fully aware that this many neg feedbacks will greatly wound/sink their Amazon seller account.

Would you leave negative feedback for a company that doesn't send out a price mistake? I certainly wouldn't, I just move on. (Just a curiosity question.)

Given the number of orders...I'm assuming some would. It doesn't take too many neg reviews to get an Amazon seller account "flagged" or restricted/banned.

Orders cancelled. So it really was just a price error. Well it was worth a try.
Hope they don't get too many negs from people who wanted 1cent posters because..."well..it's 1 cent!"
