Not too shabby for the price! Cortex A8 , unknown GPU --- I would guess it is on par w/the first gen iPad as far as power goes.

Usually, this sells for a lower price than $129 during KCash days. Even if it's the same price, then without PriceMatch hassles, the final price comes to:
$129 - $39 (30%) = $90 - $18 share of $20KCash (after adding another $10 item) = $72

it's worth ~$75... based on an allwinner a10 processor with only 512mb of ram, it runs ICS alright, but not without a decent amount of hiccups and lockups. The software builds on these polaroid units are usually barely functional, all lacking google market/play store. It is possible to install stock google apps, but not without jumping through some hoops. If you're looking for a full fledged tablet, keep looking. otherwise, if you just need an ereader/web browser with a few extras, go for it.

Get it and install the Root/Market before installing anything else. Then you will have the full play store installed. My son found a market to get paid android apps for free here

I can see two tall flyers, and one short one. One of the tall flees has only two pages. It is on page two. The other tall flyer has four pages. It is on page one of that flyer for $89.

Be very cautious of apps infected with malware on that market. They aren't doing it out of the goodness of their heart. It costs money to store & serve those apps and they're getting in your wallet one way or another. Not to mention the risk they take of handing out other people's paid apps (their lawyers gotta get paid too)

He's right, there is a 2 page flyer. Hidden on the back it says $20-$80 OFF of "select tablets". But it doesn't mention specific items. Also that sale start on 6/16. If the Polaroid with Android 4.0 in one of those you might be able to get it for $69.99 but how your going to get that to pricematch at Kohls I have no clue.
just pick one up so the kids stop fighting over the iPad. Ringed up $99 but had no problem price match to $89 with 20% off =$71 +$6 waste + tax = $83 or so. It's not an iPad, a galaxy pad, or even a kindle fire build wise. The screen is better than the old viewsonic Gtab but can't compare to the brand name ones. I am still happy with it because for $80 I have a lightweight (plastic) tablet that is pretty responsive (much better than the Gtab, about the same as the hacked touchpad that I have). Video works smoothly but for some weird reason I can't post to fatwallet. When I click to type the rest of the page turned white and I lost all the buttons to click on. May be after I hack it it'll be better. I would not buy this for myself but for the kids it's perfectly fine.
Forgot to add, a surprised bonus is that it came with the exact same charger as my HP touchpad. Even says HP on it. Saves me $20 from buying a replacement one for my touchpad since the original one broke. If you have a touchpad you'd know how nice this is since most other usb charger puts out 5V and the touchpad keeps complaining. It'll charge but takes forever. The HP one's 5.3V and apparently makes all the difference.

We stopped while in town but the store had none in stock.
It is now $99.99 online, apply the coupon 'junefriends' for 20% off, free shipping plus tax. My total is $84.79 shipped. And using Kohl's gift cards from Giant Eagle I will save another $5.09.
The battery is really good on these. My daughter has had hers on today for almost 9 hours. She has used it actively for at least half that time, and the battery is at 47%. My son said he gets 19 to 20 hours on one charge.
Good stuff, I will pick one up and get started on rooting. According to my research, this is the 702c model (one of the latest polaroid tablets with improved wifi and ice cream sandwich)

I think Big Lots has 2 polaroid models in stock right now. The one Kohl's has also (the updated one with the camera) and the older one without the home button or camera. The older one is 79.99 before the sale. I think that this one is probably the one that is 69.99, as it is in the same flyer with the 89.99 model which shows the home button. This would also maintain the 20 price difference between the 2 models. I am going to biglots because I want to get a hold of the flyer anyway when I go to Kohl's, but I'll double check.

Initially it looked like another entry level tablet but Cortex A8! That's not a bad deal..

Do you mean they won't match the 69.99 pricing? They will match the 89.99 pricing, because I did it today. I believe today is the last day for this particular 89.99 pricing though.

I keep getting "Device Not Found" errors when running "RunMe". Then it says it completed, but nothing ever happens on the tablet, no reboot, etc.
I tried running "RunMe" without the tablet connected, and it does exactly the same thing.
Any ideas?Did the computer see the tablet and go through the driver install? When we did our other tablet it didn't at first. I had to turn off the debugging and then reconnect it and the pc installed part of the drivers and then prompted me for the remainder and I pointed it to the folder in the file. The second one installed without a hitch and then I clicked the runme.

Hi,
Thanks to OP for the deal and all contributors for all the info. I bought one today and am trying to get a quick education on what I need to do to get Google Play etc., going.
I've been using the PTBA7XC for about six months until last week it hung up on boot up. Tried everything to no avial, then found the firmware 4.0v3. Installed it and got it to boot, but now the screen touch cells are funny, they don't work right.
Anyone have a previous firmware version? The customer service at southertelcom sux, I was on hold for two hours (while driving) and got disconnected after talking to someone (obviously half way around the world) for two minutes.
