I strongly disagree. since this was hosted on a link to begin with, you would have printed out the same exact flier from that link in the OP.
just what is an "original" when it's an emailed click on the link promotion coupon? it's not one time use nor was this snail mailed to anyone.
red for your hysterics.

Cheating is cheating and NOT VALID means just that.

saving a MULTI USE coupon to a PDF is not cheating. It's MULTI USE, not a one time use coupon. We see multi use Staples coupons like this all the time in Hot Deals uploaded pdf style from an original link.
They are perfectly legit to use and not shot down. You've got your undies in a big knot today Vadeltachi! If they wanted it to be restricted, they'd be one time use coupons. How is this any different than Staples multi use versus one time use?

I used to receive a lot of OD coupons via mail before they closed most of their stores. These coupons are useless to most people, unlese you have a need for the pen, pencils, envelopes ...etc. They are good for nothing but stationary, or maybe bottled water, candies ...

Would have to agree..Would be nice if they would throw out a decent bone once in a while (tech coupon or bring back higher percent off shipping coupons, etc)..

Exactly. Might I remind vadeltachi that the thread linked by FW staff above also contains printable coupons? The language FW staff themselves use is this: "Coupon codes marked "Printable" are linked to PDF download." Those coupons also say that photocopies/reproductions are not valid. Like ZenNUTS said, that's standard language on OD coupons.
Moreover, even coupons you can access by navigating the OD website also contain this language. Give it a shot: http://www.officedepot.com/a/promo/pages/0527_cpd/ (Shop in store. Print coupon.) What does that say?
I didn't realize this would cause such controversy. Sheesh!

Just to add fuel to the fire here is a quote from the above coupon instructions:
"cannot be combined with other sales, offers or promotions".
If that statement is taken literally then this coupon AND any other coupon with the same verbiage CANNOT be used at all.
Note the word "offers" in the quote. EVERYTHING in the store is an OFFER for sale at some price (regular, sale, clearance or whatever) so technically the coupon is already void before you even attempt to use it.
Fortunately, the store employees ignore that nonsense and apply the coupon to your purchase.

Let me simply say that when the coupon is hosted on the retailer's OWN WEB SITE, then clearly it is intended to be printed and any wording which talks about needing the original can safely be ignored (unless they've done something like marked the coupon as void).

Not valid for purchases: 3) of any technology or consumer electronic products and accessories or media and software products;
...or basically anything you'd want in the store...

Last time they ran one of these coupons the local store here had a rack of photocopied coupons in the foyer as you went into the store.

Technically, this is incorrect. When you're making a purchase, you (the buyer) are the one making an offer on a product and they (the store) are accepting your offer.

Might do this for two 18-pks of K-cups and a $1 filler item for $15.

Wrong.....your purchase says that you accepted their "offer" at whatever price it was marked, scanned, etc.

Thank you OP. I am planning to go to OD and this is perfect. I have printed many coupons straight off their web site before. Why is there an argument here? Many times the e-mails from OD are linked back to their web site to print the coupons out.

Just used it at OD with no problem. The cashier offered to give the coupon back to me to use again until it expires.

OP, thanks big bunches for this coupon. I needed to replace a wireless keyboard and mouse...I didn't plan it this way but I first bought the mouse I knew I wanted...the nice OD guy took the coupon no problem...later I went back realizing I really need a new keyboard too and although I had to ask for a manager, the second OD also took the coupon.
So thanks for saving me $20 for something I needed. Much appreciated.
