I've had very good luck with Newegg's open-box drives. No DOAs, no problems three months down the road. Compared to prices a year ago, this is, of course, a bit insane, but $72 is still better than $119. There was at least one left after I ordered mine, but YMMV. The last drive I picked up this way was a Samsung 1TB HD103SJ for $24.99 -- far better price per GiB, but 1TB is so small these days (hence it going into one of the boys' computers).
Anyway, here's hoping they have more than 1 left. It's also worth looking every week or two to see what's new in Open Boxland.
