Unless you really want the Ray-Ban logo, I suggest ordering from Zenni. Optical quality is same or better, for a fraction of the price. Same holds true for Wayfarer model.

Nice find OP! I bought a pair of polarized aviators on fleabay for $65, since that deal is not repeatable I'll buy a pair of the gold rimmed aviators here.

Be careful, these are 55m which usually translate to Medium size. My head is a bit larger and I wear 58mm. If you have a large head these probably won't fit right
I have ordered in the past and items ship within 7 days. You also receive them 3-4 days after being shipped

Remember, make sure 55mm is the right size for your head. For many people including me its too small

Pun said: These are likely fake RB shipped from China. There were few threads regarding these 79.99 RB sunglasses and were all confirmed to be fake.
How do you distinguish the real from the fake?

Buy these , take it to RayBan store once you hold both together you can make out easily which one is real

Yes, or you can search the other thread and verify by an input from one FW member. Also, I'd highly recommend trying out the size before ordering. 55mm is too small for many men.

Many of the RB lines are now made in and shipped from China. Just this year, the following Ray-Ban lines switched to production in China: RB 3183, RB 3186, RB 3379, RB 3386, RB 3387, RB 3362, RB 3293, etc. with more lines to come. In my experience, talking to the temp people who work at most sunglasses dealers wouldn't know the difference between a real and a fake if it smacked them in the face. If you tell them you bought it from an non-authorized online retailer, then the usual response you'll get is that they're fake without any actual verification.

I've had 3 pairs of the exact same RB2393 in the past 4 years all from Sunglass Hut, all purchased at 110 retail each, they all end up getting bent or the lens falls out only because they are delicate and I am constantly on the move. I hope the price goes down on them.

If they are made in China ones, not worth a dime. If they are made in Italy like they used to be in the past, then it is a good price. Ray Ban shamelessly started to outsource manufacturing to Chinese factories, which is a shame really, an even bigger shame is that those made in China Ray Ban glasses (real ones) are mostly sold in the USA. When you go to Europe or Asia and want to buy Ray Ban, you will almost never ever find a made in China one. The US consumer is getting duped once again, because we shamelessly do not care, and are willing to pay more for crap quality low cost labor to enrich the corporations.

What do you guys think where the Genuine ones come from? Well, simple answer: China. Where are the fake ones from? China too. How you can tell fake vs. genuine? No, you don't.

Fakes are cheaper in quality. They are made of different materials under different quality control. Don't come here crying if you need a cataract surgery in near future.
