HDD no included...can easily add 500GB SATA HDD for around $60. Internal only, not external. Decent deal for a 8ch DVR package.

The DVR is probably ok for the price, but I can guarantee the cameras are going to suck. You are looking at spending at least $100 to get a OK outdoor camera with IR.
A good choice for those looking to spend just a few bucks more.

Your link has the same specs at the one in OP for the same price for the DVR only plus that seller charges $15 shipping for me (chicago) compare to $5 for woot-off. Agree on the quality of the cams but decent camera such as this can be had for around $50.

Same spec, perhaps, but its a Dahua unit, which is a bit better quality than the TVT unit which is what the Zmodo is. And unless you've been living under a rock, there is a lot more to performance than posted specs, case and point, the specs on the included cameras look great.
But don't believe me, go check out some cctv forums and read from the pros.

So $159 for the DVR, then $400 for cameras. Makes sense that a package at $559 would be better than the $149 deal.
