Thanks Butcherboy, I have been waiting for a deal on an ASUS 17.3” machine for a while now. Awesome price and it has the “big” display my aging eyes need ! I know it isn’t the newest or the fastest, however, it is a killer price for this machine, and certainly adequate for most tasks. ASUS makes a great machine. In for 1.

Is this company good to buy from? Has any one had to return an item to them? Any good deals on extended warrenty? I wonder how long it takes to get it. I purchased the Lenovo G770 i5 for 561.00. I think this is a lot better buy. Thinking about getting it.

i think you can trust 1SaleADay. many people, myself included, bought that battletech lasertag and had no problems in terms of delivery or quality of the item. the only question is whether this laptop is worth the price cuz i've got my eye on it, too. btw, i believe the site's listed resolution for this computer is wrong. according to asus' website, the screen resolution is 1600x900 for this model.

Thanks for the info leverus. Looks like there is no returns if we do not like it. Reseller ratings are okay for the company but it did have a good number of dissatisfied people although they were the minority. Is there some where to buy an extended warranty?

The 17" makes it a decent deal. A 15" at this price with the warranty would not be worth it. The i3 is 2nd gen which is a plus (compared to 1st gen).

1366x768 on a 17" screen? Oy.

Good if you don't mind the resolution.

See leaverus' post a few above. Asus website indicates this model is 1600x900. Based on history with 1SaleADay, highly likely they posted the wrong resolution. coolbreeze said:   1366x768 on a 17" screen? Oy.

Do they offer a better warranty for a price? Ninety days is never enough.

Here's a list of Reseller Ratings 10 Highest rated stores:

World of Stains
City Toner
Coolstuff1122.com
Touchboards
Primary Arms
Electrociti.com
Humbucker Music
Rocketmoto.com
MakeStickers.com
iMarine USA

I've never heard of these stores. In fact, it goes on like that, and you can go 50 stores deep and not find one even vaguely familiar store. So what does a bad rating from Reseller Ratings really mean? Beats me.

Unfortunately i dont see this on the site.

I take it that the item was available only one day ???

Does this qualify for the $15 Win. 8 upgrade?

I have ordered a good many things from them, however, they are very slow to ship. The last thing I ordered, a guitar, I had to threaten to call the Better Business Bureau and it shipped the next day. That had been a month from when I ordered it. I probably will continue to order from them cause they do have good prices. Just don't be in hurry to get it!!
