You can also get the 120GB version for $95.49 after MIR. This is a really great deal (if you're into MIR) for one of the fastest SSD's on the market.

These are hardly “one of the fastest” as you claim but this is still good price/GB for mid-range SSDs with decent reliability. Personally for $95 after MIR for the 120GB version I would just wait for another Newegg $90 no-rebate deal on the 128GB Samsung 830 Series SSD. Newegg offered that deal twice last month. Those 830s leave these Corsairs in the dust.

Was basing my statement from the list on this site for consumer level SSD's.

They ranked the Corsair Force GT 4th on their list. This is from April so the SandForce controller these top SSD's used may have changed since this.

Well - based on the READ WRITE speeds - Corsair is THE fastest on that list.

Specs mean nothing if they can't actually be achieved or they are achived with large numbers of errors like the OCZs. Look at some of the real-world testing over at Anand who does real world application and not benchmarks that use theoretical mathematical models. The Corsair average around 280-300iops in real-world use while the Samsung 830s consistently achieve in the low 500s IOPS on SATA III controllers. The Corsairs are considered mid-range SSDs.
