The Neverkink is vinyl, and lighter. This one is rubber. From my friend Google, rubber hoses are more durable, but heavier and a little less flexible. Since they are both covered by a lifetime warranty, durability may not be a huge factor.

Good hose at a FW price, but I personally would get 2 x 50ft (often on sale for $19.99) for just a few dollars more.
Unless you always need 100 foot, 2 x 50 ft would cover two faucets and you can screw them together for the times when you need > 50 ft.
P.S. I believe most homeowner grade pressure washers recommend water hose length <= 50 foot.

++ And use my 10 off 25 coupon to boot.
The print out 10 off 25 coupon was for store purchase only, or are you talking about some digital coupon?
Just checked at local Sears and this will not work. This deal is online only and the coupon is in store only. Here, the in store price is $59.99. So you either get $10 off $60 in store or $36.99 online.

Doesn't performance in terms of pressure degrade w/ hose length, even over a flat surface?
I just bring this up because was thinking why not get as long a hose as possible, but now thinking get only as long as you'll usually need and then get an extra (25'? 50') for occasional supplemental length.
This probably is splitting hairs on flat ground but if the hose is going uphill maybe matters more?

Life is a funny thing for me. I bought my first house about 1.5 years ago so my fiancee and myself can live there, we have a baby together, and I buy 2 of the never kink hoses and don't think about it.
Now my paranoid partner reads about the evils of non rubber hoses (Lead, BPA, all this other crapola) and now I'm buying a rubber hose for her. So now I have 2 lifetime warranty neverkinks and a 100' rubber hose. All so she can fill up the kiddie pool without freaking out.
Good thing I have a lot of land, maybe I'll actually someday need all 3 hoses I now own.
That being said, thanks for the deal.

I predict you will plant and plant and plant to justify the purchase of even more hoses via ButcherBoy. In the age-old question of which came first the landscaping or the hose, everybody here knows it was the hose.

My local Sears "hosed" me on this. I bought one this morning before they opened and had 2 in stock. I showed up 30min after opening and the guy in front of me bought both of the remaining hoses. They hadn't even turned on the computer yet. ....now if i want one i have to pay $20 shipping. Lame. So, no 100ft hose for me.

I did when they were out of the 75ft. A little surprised they wanted to ship it for free, but I'll take it.

As long as hose is level pressure will remain the same regardless of how long the hose is.
The running volume of water that comes out the end of the hose does and will decrease the longer the hose is.
If the hose is going uphill the pressure (and volume) will decrease - downhill it will increase. Unless the elevation change is substantial you will probably never notice the difference. Each foot of elevation change is equal to 0.433 PSI of water pressure
This wasn't asked but one long hose will deliver more running volume than two hoses connected together (reason more restrictions) Again this is something that you will never notice.
If you want more running volume out of a hose increase its diameter (instead of 5/8 go to 3/4") This you will probably notice. Pressure will be identical.

How does this hose compare with the one on sale at Home Depot for $19.99? The one on sale at Home Depot is also 100' and has a Lifetime Limited warranty.
Assuming it's rubber, the only difference would be in the warranty, but I'll take a Craftsman lifetime warranty over a limited lifetime warranty (or just about any other warranty for that matter) any day.
No go on using the coupon for me, either. $10 off $60 hose in-store or $37 hose online with store pickup.
