I like the fact that it's passive 3d. Cheap glasses. I love my passive 3d tv.

the passive 3d is tempting, but i just jumped on the 55inch hisense for 690 shipped.

Unless I'm missing something, the 47" is $659

I *just* ordered a 47" Panasonic from Amazon!

Wi-Fi got me interested in this deal

An interesting idea. Tempting to check out a squaretrade warranty on this thing and pick it up but can't find any reviews...

It seems amazing to me! I am interested about it and I would like to mark it first!

hOw does it compare to this?

I believe the one on Amazon is a better tV. Any light to shed?

aww.. I just pulled my trigger and out of stock on the 47 inch version...

Goodluck sending it back or proving it was broke before you got it, shipping damages alone aren't worth the risk on higher priced used items. We're in a recession here, so you're probably better off finding a local kid who needs the money.

Caveat emptor on big ticket items.

im sorry but that is a pretty crappy policy woot holds. We may provide you with customer support when we want, but we don't have to. I know most people around here have good luck with woot but I couldn't buy a TV knowing that policy

I hate passive, you only get half the resolution but the fact it's 120Hertz, means it also works with a nVidia 3D kit (active 3D).

i LOVE my passive for 11mos, have 15 or 20pr of glasses for all my friends and family thanks to theater recycling! I have yet to see any artifacts that make active better. LG updated it's algorithm last year to get near 3/4 of the resolution instead of just 540p per eye. And frankly, I think anyone that can 'see' those differences from the recommended viewing distance, probably bought the emperors new clothes too. And YES i know it's less resolution, just like everyone settles for 128mbps MP3's. I still maintain my retired Mitsubishi 1080i RPTV with it's built in line doubler paired with an Integra DVD threw as good a 480p picture as any BD I've seen on my LG in 1080p, save for some IMAX stuff.

I've been looking for another set for the bedroom, thanks OP!

I can't believe I missed this - I've been scanning almost daily for 55" TV deals and love the LG passive sets - have the 47" in my bedroom and love it - little reflections from external light sources, great picture, 3D, and decent internet suite.
