Having experienced the Thrive, the only thing I don't like about it is its unusual for its class thickness. It just feels clunky.

as a guy with big hands, i think it feels much better holding it.....the ipad is clumsy too me
the widescreen format is a bit strange surfing
i have ipad, touchpad, thrive
i use thrive the most cuz GPS and sdcard

Sounds like a great deal. For me, I would get this over Nexus 7 for a larger screen & SD slot for movies while traveling with no WiFi even if it's dual core vs quad core.

fwiw, they had the 8 GB version a few weeks ago for $190
