I'm so glad I held off on the Portal 2 66% off sale from several weeks ago. I shall celebrate with cake.

I really wish Anno 2070 would get a good discount. Have been waiting for that game to be affordable for a looong time. I love complex city sim games. It is on sale for 33% off now ($33.49). Wish it was 50%.

Just picked up Anno 2070 (thanks Steam!). They have the game + DLC for $25 now (66% off). Yeah, the copy protection sucks, but watching game play on youtube just blew me away with the depth.

Grr, looks like they upped the price a bit for the collection. Now only 59% off ($30). Base game still 50% off ($25). Just thought I'd update since you updated your post. Although, I'm not sure how many people actually want this game <grin>

I'm in for Max Payne 3. The first two were great.

These are a bit addictive, was waiting on Max Payne 3, and picked up a few others under $5.

Just a heads-up for those interested in the Flash Sale for the Microsoft Flight Collection ($16.99). The flash sale is for the DLC content for Microsoft Flight and does not contain the base game. The base game will need to be downloaded (Microsoft Flight) in order to see the game in your Library and utilize the DLC. The base game is Free to Play.

I personally overlooked the fact that the flash sale was for the DLC only and I didn't realize the purchase didn't include the base game. I've updated the OP to include a link.

The Assassin's Creed bundle that started today is a joke. It's cheaper to buy all the items separately. Also, if you buy just the games without the multiplayer packs you can save almost $14 from the bundle price.

EDIT: Looks like they adjusted the Assassin's creed bundle price. It was $44.79, down to $34.99 now.

Anyone else having issues connecting to Steam? Every once in a while I connect, but it's virtually impossible to buy something without timing out...

Yea, it's being tempermental. I'm trying to buy four individual copies of a game to gift later, and the first one took 10 min, the second 3, the third 30 seconds, and the fourth I've been working on for another 10 min. Eventually it gets through, but I have to do a LOT of page refreshing due to timeouts.

Edit: Whew. The system is back up to speed and I was able to get the fourth copy before the timer ran out. Took about 50 minutes to buy 4 copies.

Highly recommend Train Simulator for $3.99 (with Horseshoe expansion).

I have a wired XBox 360 controller for Windows and it works awesome with the game. I'm very pleased with the purchase and I'm looking forward to setting up the other PC's in the household for some multiplayer fun.

Picked up Skyrim through this sale, figure even that that price we'll definitely be getting our money's worth. Of course, now hubby isn't making project on around-the-house projects... drat.
