Just got the last one from our local store.
Amazing price and running at speed of old Arrandale i3 speed.

Or you can get this one for same price:
Model: B575 - 1450ALU
SKU: 5272499

E450 may not be as efficient as B960 though. I found ivy bridge B960 perform better than our older arrandale i3-330m!
(Benchmark at average 739 vs 2099 vs i3-330 2000)

But, yes, it is also $299.99.

Compare the prices at Lenovo outlet too!

An example!

I just found this site by looking up this laptop on google. If you guys have had a chance to try it out how do you like it? I've got an HP that I've had for 3 years and it overheats all the time and it's starting to breakdown so I'm starting to look for a replacement.

The specs look solid enough, how do you like the keyboard? I absolutely hate Compaqs because the keyboard and touch pad buttons are just awful.

Currently, I have a DV7-6113cl and my wife have a Vostro V131. By comparison, Lenovo keyboard feel the best to me. ( but, you should visit your local bestbuy and test it out yourself. )

Windows 8 Pro upgrade $15 price should be available http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_8#Upgrade_offers

Is its processor comparable to i3 or i5? Thanks!

B960 should be at if not better than Arrandale i3-330m level.

thanks

Just bought one. Thanks!

lots of these laptop are are to be had at many BB stores still! I was surprised.

not bad.

Is this a reg price?
Sale price?

Great price, but the trend is to USB 3.0
thanks

If you try to find this particular Lenovo model number elsewhere you'll come up empty, no other stores has it. Last year when I bought one of these $300 Lenny's the clerk at BB told me they are made specifically for BB. Certainly is sales price, but once sale is over and inventory depleted, doubt you'll see it in the store again.

You'll have to pay a heck of a lot more than this for USB 3.0 but website states it does have HDMI.

I see the reviews on the AMD chip model and they are higher. Looks like one is Intel, one AMD. I want to use this for heavy internet use.YouTube etc. I want to use this for lots of downloads, and video out.

Which should I choose?
What have I missed?
thanks all

AMD E 450 CPU Mark score 738 Linky
Intel B 960 CPU Mark score 2089 Linky

Seems to me the two are not even close.

That's enough to conclude..

thanks for the scores...I just came from Best Buy and looked at the Lenovo....No sign on the product, the young sales girl gave me a price of $339.00...They had seven instock...No AMD I could see

as per bestbuy's web page
Warranty Terms - Parts 3 years limited
Warranty Terms - Labor 1 year limited

REally ? That is rather good !

I read on this site and the "other" site about Lenovo.....I saw many Lenovo outlet sales....Yes I know iPad has many refurbs

Wow, HDMI, webcam, AND an e-sata/USB combo port. If only it was also a USB3 port, it would be perfect. But e-sata is still very useful.
