$2mm with coupon in this thread on the Zebra Pencils. (coupon is $2 off "writing instrument", last I knew, a pencil was that!) Thank you. But I think this Q is gone.
I printed 2 days ago & used it already. I wanted to print few more from different PC, but can't find it anymore.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 1 PC is also free after Staples Easy Rebate according to the SD thread. Sadly the ad says the limit is 1. Hopefully the 15% off software coupon will still scan on Sunday.

ugh! Only an $11 rebate involved. So at best the 15% off makes you $1.65. Much prefer the $50 rebate where it's a $7.50mm!
After Easy Rebate: Zebra #2 0.7mm Mechanical Pencils (710706) - 10 pack - FREE Pentel R.S.V.P. Ballpoint Pens (474054) - 5 pack - FREE Staples Multipurpose Paper (513099) - $1.00 HP 8.5" x 11" Photo Paper (809757) - 50pack - $1.00
Following with $5 purchase: Pink Cap Erasers (167601) - 12 pack - $0.01 3 x 5 Index Cards (296608) - 100 pack - $0.01
OK Deal: PNY Attache 16GB USB Flash Drive (864655) - $9.99
Additionally, there is a $5 off $30 in store only coupon - Code 37248
desimillionaire op sd
HP Photo is limit 4, Staples Ream Paper limit 2 on the rebates.
The pens/pencils show limit 1, however, this week, the Bic Mech. Pencils were printed as limit 2 on the rebate form. So let's hope for a limit 2 again on these!

Kiosk order using 20% off Staples mobile app coupon. These take off before instant savings. So -$12 + $11 makes these a net gain of $1. Not sure how that will fly since any instant savings ($48.99) on a kiosk order needs to be overridden by the manager. That is how it was working this week on kiosk orders for the TM AV.
And what is up with the limit 4 on photo paper 3 weeks in a row? Only once last year was photo paper limit 4 for a week IIRC. Useful in getting one over dollar thresholds to use coupons though.

reg. price on the photo paper is $9.99 so again one needs a $10.01 item to reach the $50 mark for the gas gc rebate.

It was on the front page of the hard copy ad scan posted on SD. I expect it will be sent in the Friday's look at next week email or posted on Staples.com come Sunday.

The 15% off software coupon worked fine. Be sure to have them scan the $5/30 first so the 15% off does not take you below $30, if you're just buying 2 HP + Kaspersky (although it's possible that it would work in either order).

Thx!
I found my 15% software coupon a few days ago in my coupon wallet at Staples Rewards website. I don't know if they are still available there now or not though. HTH
EDIT: Here is a direct link for the coupon, but do not it expired yesterday so YMMV when trying to use it.
You currently have no available coupons, but that doesn’t mean you can’t save by checking out our weekly ad. Check back soon for coupons and don't forget to use your Staples Rewards® number every time you shop.

I have no clue where the box is located in the store, but it would be pretty funny if someone started dropping laptops and other stuff randomly in the box. Ironically, I always donate the crap my daughter doesn't want/like--and then I feel bad that some kid is getting her rejects. Reminds of donating muffin bottoms to charity and being yelled at by Rebecca De Mornay.

Whoa, really...relax. I've been participating in the deals and plan on dropping off a box of all the 1 cent deals and FAR merchandise I've been buying to the local school. I've never even seen this box in my local stores. Are Staples threads the only ones where we can't make jokes on Fatwallet?

My plan: 2 HP Photo paper 18.98 1 Ream 6.99 Pens/Pencils 4 1c items .04 ------------- 31.01 - $5/30 = 26.01, get back 27.97 in rebates, .59 rewards on the ream.
Doing this twice, ordering the Kaspersky online, download version for no tax, through Chase UR mall for some extra points/minimum credit card spend. The terms recently changed to say not valid on software, but I got my full 540 bonus points for the 9 copies of Trend Micro last week. Sadly, it's only 44 bonus points for this week's. [Chase Sapphire Preferred]It may actually be better to use the 5% upromise reward + 1% general chase reward (or if you have a 2% general-use card, go that route), as they will stack naturally and upromise does not have a software restriction (at least, they didn't a few weeks ago).

I bought two of each of the fAR pens and pencils not realizing that they were limit 1. I thought they were limit 2 like last week, so it looks like I will have to return one of each. Was the limit this week for the pens and pencils always just 1?

no, they are not tracked. it's simply limit 2 per transaction assuming you spend $5? (not sure if the $5 min applies to these or just the 1c items).
you don't have to give your rewards# to get these deals.Only to 1c items.
