hard call. on one hand, i love photography paraphenalia. but that also means i already have a lot of it. if this stuff is a bunch of junk like flexi minitripods then i have too much of that already. but if it's stuff like strobes, stands, etc. i'm gonna regret it.
any past history on deals like this from them before?

I would get this if they would pay postage both ways on returns. Otherwise, it's probably stuff with grossly inflated list prices selling for $200 or less on the web. I'll bet there's nothing like the high-end stuff in the picture.

Looking at the photo I suspect you'll see a lot of things they sold in the past - like the aluminium photo case (ick), the Fuji 3D camera etc...
Won't be too hard for them to inflate the MSRP and send one camera, a case and some useless flexible Kodak tripods and claim you save $800 off MSRP. I'm all for a gamble, but this one is too rich for my taste. They had a LOT of Kodak stuff (as Kodak is now bankrupt) and I bet this is a great way for them to offload a lot of that.

Yeah ... I love how they put a Nikon DSLR in the pic. In the end, if they could sell the stuff individually for more, they would.

The Aluminum photo case is actually decent, and I use it to hold some video lights and batteries. But I don't need another one, and I don't need more cheap tripods either, and I'm a little leery of the claimed $1,000+ retail value. But if I knew they would include at least one decent camera (Kodak is fine for me), then I would go for it.

there is no guarantee you'll get an ipad. Keep in mind it's very easy to rack up $1000 msrp for bunch of overpriced photography related materials that can easily turn out to be junk. If you really want an ipad, spend an extra $150 and get in on any one of the specials (WalMart, frys etc)

It's not an iPad. It's the Pandigital 6" ereader that they are selling on Ben's Outlet for $24.99 with a list price of $139.99.
It was deceiving for them to make the Pandigital look bigger than the Kindle when they are actually both about the same size. This could fall in the false advertisement range, but since they stated that the items in the image is for reference purposes only, they are probably protected from any false advertisement claims.
If you guys observed carefully, an iPad would have color in it and not be black & white as shown in the image.
I also bought one and will report back on what I received.
One bad experience that I had with 1SaleADay was when an item that I had bought last year took a whole month to get to me. No communication from 1SaleADay whatsoever, indicating that there will be a delay. Talk about professionalism. None at all.
If they threw this Fujifilm in, they would only need to send you one or two more items and it would complete your order of being well worth over $800 in savings.
List Price: $699.99 Savings: (83%) -$580.00 Our Price: $119.99
It looks like a pretty decent camera, but over-inflated in the list price.

The Fuji camera itself on Ben's outlet for 119.95 doesnt seem to be too bad - the lowest I could see was like 159.95 on WalMart and Amazon. Sears shows it to be 287.28 - productlink

The camera is OK...3D is a lot of fun to look at on screen but this camera produced awful pics in 2D (printed and on regular screen) so I returned it a while back. I bought a bundle as well...figure there's got to be enough there that I can prob sell and recover my $200 back. If I got a camera in there or even the Fuji 3D again it would still be worth it as long as I get my money's worth. I agree the value was prob inflated to $1000.. On a good note though, I think we are the first people to ever purchase a -$200- blind deal. That means it better be good or else the word will spread and no one will purchase next time! Lucky us right? Lol Crossing fingers and saying my prayers! Hahaha (Hope I don't wind up kicking myself later). Will let everyone know when I receive it. dSLR! DSLR! DSLR!
I bought one as I have got a few good deals from 1 Sale A Day as of late. But yeah, their retail markups are like the price of new tech when it was first available, not what it currently retails for. So it will be interesting to see how they play out the retail value.
Only problem is the time it takes for them to process it and get it shipped. Ordered some bedding on July 6th and I'm still waiting for it to ship. But I'm used to it from them.
I'll come back and post my contents, I'm guessing about mid next month. Hoping for something I could really use, like a DSLR and get me out of the P&S cameras I've been using. If not I guess I will resell and try to get my money back and then some!
Just for comparison here are some of my previous order dates and time to delivery.
Ordered On - Received On 05-13-2012 - 06/05/2012 05-23-2012 - 06/01/2012 06-17-2012 - 07/02/2012 07-06-2012 - Processing

I ordered one as well. I'm going to go out on a limb that they *might* have 1 or 2 dSLRs distributed amongst all those ordered. So don't hold your breath that you'll actually receive one. Then again they might not have any given the "For Reference Purposes Only" disclaimer. I wouldn't expect to get the umbrellas or other pro equipment.
I'll go further out on a limb and suggest that a typical box will contain a nicer P&S like the Fuji mentioned above (refurbished), a pocket sized no-frills camera either from Kodak or one of the meaningless names in photography (Sanyo, GE, the zombie of Vivitar, etc.), and a similarly branded pocket camcorder. Add in one of those 16" mini studio boxes, the aluminum storage case, a Sunpak or similar full-size and mini tripod, and a Pandigital tablet or eReader. You might also happen to get a 2-4GB SD/microSD card as well. If that's what we mostly end up with, as I predict, then very little will be useful. We should be able to get at least our money back via eBay or Craigslist with an assortment like that.
I might post an unboxing video on YouTube. So if anyone from 1SAD is lurking, see above for my baseline expectations.. Exceed them and you'll get lots of free positive publicity, fall far short of them, and while it will still be free, you'll have to find out if there really is such a thing as bad publicity. And no, even though my order is still processing, I'm not giving you my account name on your site--I'm not going to entice you into loading me up with extra swag. I want the luck of the draw, since that's what YT viewers could expect in future MB offerings from you.

I too will do a YouTube video. I do them all the time for the BOC's I get. My expectations are similar to yours.
*Decent P&S camera *8GB or more memory card *Cheap tablet or digital photo frame *Tripod *Camera bag or case *Photo Editing Software
I also think every box that is reported will be identical or darn close. I would love to get a DSLR as I keep putting buying one off but I will reveal my contents on here and the other deal sites I go to as well 1SAD's FB page.
Nothing yet for me. I will post s soon as it does though!

It looks like you might be right with the mid August estimate. Today is the 10th day and still processing...If this was me selling on eBay and delaying the order for this long, especially something of this magnitude--$205 on an unknown, I would most definitely be getting a negative feedback. It's amazing how 1SaleADay makes retailers like Amazon and Wal-Mart look so much superior. They seriously need to bring their shipping team up-to-date. It's like they're doing FIFO shipping (First in, first out), so they are practically shipping orders from way before the 22nd of July and still catching up. Patience, my friends.
My order from 07/06 is due to arrive at my place tomorrow and I also ordered a flash deal on the 21st that is amazingly due to arrive today. All shipped via UPS SUREPOST. I'm hoping for tracking info this week. Would like to get a weight and dimensions if possible

I guess we all got the exact same items. 10 lbs here as well. I researched the weight of some of the items pictured as possible scenarios for what you might or we might be receiving:
Kindle Fire - Approx. 1 lb. (Highly doubtful) Vivitar Camera Hard Case - Approx. 5-6 lbs. (Most likely) Fuji S2940 Digital SLR - Approx. 2 lbs. (Maybe or highly doubtful, as it is still available on Ben's Outlet) Kodak C1550 - Approx. 1 lb. (Probably another highly doubtful, as they are still selling this model on eBay) Pandigital B&W eReader - Approx. 5 lbs. (Appears most likely, because it's no longer available on Ben's Outlet. The realistic fact here is this is not even a photo item. If we received this as one of the items in our mystery bundle, I would consider it myself that 1SaleADay have scammed us all.)
Well, everything is still open to hopes and imaginations. Question for those that bought a bundle, would you consider it a mystery bundle, if we all got the exact same items?
I would say, "No."
Anyways, good luck to all...whatever that luck still entails.

Place setter would be nice, but if actual, then we're all getting the exact same items!

Funny. In their press release the 3d camera was $500.
The FinePix REAL 3D W3 digital camera will be available in early September 2010 at a retail price of $499.95.
The new Pandigital Novel Personal eReader (PRD06E20WWH8) will be available this month at national retailers. It has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $199.99 and is expected to sell at even lower everyday retail pricing and promotional pricing.
