I worry about the quality of these no-name drives. If you are storing / transferring precious data I would stick with the Lexar deals that's going on right now.
that's an awesome deal. I've used plenty of cheaper brand sticks and i can't recall a single time i had an issue

I'd be worried about storing that amount of data on something that's much easier to lose.

32gb here, 64gb there... its still a lot. Even at 4gb, some documents can be horrible to lose. But then I wouldn't put sensitive stuff on any of these unless there was a strong encryption.

Anyone have a benchmark for this drive? what kind of performance does it have. I haven't been able to find anything. I would like to find something to boot "Windows8 to go" which requires a 32GB flash drive. I would like one as fast as possible for a decent boot time and performance.

I have the 16gb, 3.0 version. I've had it for 3 months now and no problems.

Cheaper to buy a usb microSD reader (small one) for about $2 and a 32gb microSD for around $16. And the micro SD can do more and the reader can do more too.
oh the trade off might be a bit of speed.

It's a lot easier to frequently back up a 4gb drive rather than one 16x larger.
No one realistically needs to carry 64gb worth if data with them....

Once you go USB 3.0 its hard to go back to the much slower USB 2.0 for large file transfer. Yes, you do have to watch which chipset it uses as some are faster than other. Current 32G USB3.0 I use tops off at 120mb/sec.

Is 3.0 worth that much?

Guys,
I tried looking on Am@zon for this exact same drive. They only have the 16GB USB 3.0 version of this drive. 4 out of 5 stars from 29 reviewers. Here's the link:
