They changed from a touch of color to stripes? Oh, Samsung!

Thy also have a stripped down 60" for $1,349 after $500 discount through tomorrow. They are both Costco only models. The 60 is UN60eh6050F

Don't forget to add the squaretrade warranty for $30.00 for total of 5 years.

info

is it really 120Hz as mentioned on the website

googled it and saw everywhere its 60Hz

http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN39EH5003-39-Inch-1080p-Black/dp/...

it's 60hz. Good deal but could the OP please add the refresh rate to the included specs. http://www.techlicious.com/blog/beware-of-inflated-lcd-tv-specs/

Almost none TV is 120Hz under $700. Its just double 60Hz movie mode to get pseudo 120Hz.

Complete junk model.

TextWell guys;please cut down on the rubbish, bull, dodoo, what ever you want to call it since it always looks bad, smells bad; and for those who eat it..well enough said. This model is not exclusive to COSTCO. You can also get it at buydig.com for the same price and free shipping. For all the lazy couch potatoes,no it lacks the apps and features/gadgets that allow your belly to grow.To polishdreamer, please get a logo from KRAKUS beer from Poland before you make ignorant statements. Polish people deserve much better.

is it me or is 39" a weird length for tv. Should I worry about the dimensions and stuff?

39" is basically a preshrunk 40" --- I wouldn't worry about it particularly in a LED LCD --- if it was plasma that would be a different story

While I wouldn't go that far, the 5000 series are not even close to the next generation 6000 series from Samsung. The 5000 series is 2-3 year old technology, ancient in terms of today's thinking about electronics.

Thanks for the info

Ah, excuse me, but while the new budget model LED's from SAMSUNG are backlit rather than edge lit, which others have said generally get better or more even edge to edge contrast (than the edge lit LED's), its is absolutely bogus nonsense to call this 3 year old technology. Ok, its samsung entry level LED, so dont expect dual core motionflow, but if you actually compare picture quality, the backlit samsung LED's are pretty darn good. At the price point, its a good deal and compares very favorably with a 40 in d5000.

as a seller of Samsung TV's we've only just started seeing the 39 in samsung, (haven't opened up a Vizio 39 to see if they are using a Samsung panel, yet), but at the price point, seems like a great price compared with the 40 samsung budget Led's...

just got one from costco for $339 for display model!
