Do you know any TV that size that is 1080? It makes no difference to the human eye.
This is not true. Why do you think Apple make retina display on 9.7 ipad? I bet you have never seen 1080p display before.

At any rate, childish comments aside, the issue here is what does "true HD" mean. The fact of the matter is that 720p is still HDTV. Look it up. If "true HD" or whatever you're calling it is supposed to mean "1080p", then you'd be correct--this is only 720p. But then again, no one is saying otherwise.
EDIT: My local target has a couple, but they're on clearance for "$99.58"... not $59.98. Which is only $10 or $20 off normal price. The question is what the price will be when it's scanned...

Apple makes it so that individual pixels are indistinguishable at a normal viewing distance. Unless you plan on sitting a couple of feet from this TV, it'll be within spitting distance of fitting Apple's "Retina Display" definition.

Nice deal. Not OOS everywhere. Nearest stores to me with "Limited Stock" are 50 and 65 miles away. I'd get one if it were half that distance away.

Found one in store, but like the others have stated, still $99. Woman in electronics department said the deal was online only.
