isn't this too much work and wait for $5 ?Hmmmmm, it's called mail-in-rebate. Have you done any yourself? Can you point exactly where it is more of "too much work" than other rebates? The bottom line, some do it even at $5/hr and you don't. Everybody is happy now.

We are fatwalleter, we do all kinds of rebates, whether they are $5 or $100. If you don't enjoy the beauty of rebates, you probably miss a big part as a fatwalleter.

I i own 4 of these corsair drives and can say they are insanely durable and fast enough to be used to play media in various dvd players. My one complaint is that all of these corsair drives are the same exact color no matter the size, so it is difficult to know which one is which.

Great Deal and in for 1. Agreed that the 1.99 shipping beats the time/gas price to drive to frys (for me at least). Also for anyone curious, I have done 2 rebates previously with Patriot and they honored all of them in a fairly timely manner.

You're def on the wrong site. This site is about saving money. I'm not even getting in on the deal but was pointing out the simple procedure to get the rebate so that others dont get frightened away thinking it's an impossible task to get the rebate.
