What's the difference between Duracell Rechargeables StayCharged and Duracell Rechargeable Batteries ?

The StayCharged are low-drain. All rechargeables loose their charge over time (even if they are sitting in a drawer) - from what I remember of the regular rechargeable batteries, if you leave them without being charged for a month or two, they're completely dead and need to charged again. I think Duracell advertises 70% charge remaining on the StayCharged after 1 year of sitting without use. I've had no trouble using them 3-4 months after charging but haven't tried longer.

what do you use to charge them?

Wfuscrub, Duracell sells chargers for their rechargeable batteries. You can use this Amazon coupon towards the purchase of one. Here's an example: http://www.amazon.com/Duracell-Charger-Charged-Rechargeable-Batt...

They also sell chargers that charge up to 4 at a time, and they're very inexpensive! Great return on investment considering you can recharge and reuse the batteries over and over!

According to Duracell.com, StayCharged batteries:

STAY CHARGED 5X LONGER THAN ORDINARY RECHARGEABLES

Not only will you get hundreds of uses out of each StayCharged Rechargeable battery with Duralock Power Preserve™ Technology, but they stay charged longer so you can recharge less. Now these batteries come with a 3-year guarantee in storage.

These powerful NiMH batteries are ideally suited for high-drain or frequently used devices. Recharge hundreds of times and save hundreds of dollars.

i got some rechargeables last year but havent even used them since Staples keeps giving
away free batteries
