I bought this machine and 3 year warranty and the total came up to about $663 before taxes. CashBack of $39.80 through FW, the full 6%. I feel like I scored quite a deal!

The IdeaPad U410 shatters the mold with its sleek metal design and color options — it's available in Ruby Red, Sapphire Blue and Graphite Gray. What's more, at 21mm (0.8 in) thin and a mere 1.8 kg (4.2 lbs), the U410 is perfect for people who are always on the go.

I am not being -ve here, but I have read some very discouraging reviews on Amazon!
And I do agree on few points. For a machine like this, 768X1024 is such a low screen resolution. Ppl are complaining about battery life being 3.5 to 4 hrs max and not the promised 8 hrs. Lot of wifi complaints too...
FYI, one reviewer says: "Trying to return the product to Lenovo has been a NIGHTMARE. First they want a 15% restocking fee, secondly, its impossible to get the information needed to return, including the address, and if you don't return in 21 days, you can't return at all..."

Amazon reviews WTF? You are reading users reviews from peopel who bought a completely different machine and have no knowledge and then worrying about such reviews?
768X1024 is such a low screen resolution facts; the resolution is 1366x768, ie teh standard for all machines in this price/weight class
First they want a 15% restocking fee, Facts; Amazon and almost all sellers now charge a 15% restock fee on laptops
Lot of wifi complaints too... actually that looks to be one reviewer who posted multiple reviews and has no idea what they are talking about.
The seriuos reviewers give it high marks
