THIS Cobra universal mount works well for all sorts of phones, with or without cases. I've used it with a Droid RAZR and Galaxy S3. The sticky pad works really well.
I have the S2 and the Infuse dock is very intriguing. Yes, AT&T sells a dock for the S2. However, according to the reviews, the S2 will only fit the dock without a case. Also, the Infuse dock is $5, while the S2 dock is $20.
I was curious whether my S2 in the OtterBox Commuter case would fit the Infuse dock. I looked up the specs for the two phones and measured my S2 in the case.
The dimensions of the Infuse are: 5.15" x 2.77" x 0.36"
The dimensions of the S2 (without the case) are: 4.93" x 2.60" x 0.33"
The dimensions of the S2 (with the case) are: 5.12 x 2.75 - VERY SIMILAR TO THE DIMENSIONS OF THE INFUSE.
For $5.00 I decided to take a chance that the Infuse dock will fit my S2 with the case.

I think it worked for me. I got an order confirmation mail saying that it has been sent to the warehouse for shipping. They might have gone out-of-stock on inventory. The website might take sometime to update. How much time after placing the order did you get cancellation email?
