These are designed for NAS. Basically WD Reds are WD Greens + NASWare software = 5yr warranty

Check that warranty. It appears that the listing shows a 3 year warranty instead of 5.

I personally nabbed three to throw in a Javelin S4. 3TB would have been fun, but I know the 2TB drives are compatible with the unit and the amount of storage suits my needs for now, plus pricing is good - until the 3TB drives go on sale.
Product only went live four months ago, so let's make a small testbed. Report back with NAS/RAID make/model and results y'all!
