When I first read this I thought it was 27" until I looked at specs for width. Not sure when this was introduced but it's a pretty good price for an Ultrasharp 1" lees than the $1200.00 30 inch monitor.

Yeah....that is what I have as well. 2xU2410s all color calibrated. LOVE them. Have a third if my desk was bigger. LOL

What a weird aspect ratio! Anyone who is looking at this be sure you understand that this is NOT 16:9 or 16:10 but rather 64:27 or 21:9 depending how you count!!!

Not really the wierdest, many movies are in 21:9. Vizio just released in the US their super wide tv's for this reason. and if that's the only benefit to this monitor, I'll be happy with black bars on my Dell 2412.

Well, as long as you use DVI -> HDMI properly, I do not see why not. A few of my co-workers have been happily using 1080p 32" TV as monitor for years. I myself had a PC always connected to my 1080p TV and it works beautifully pixel by pixel, I do not understand all those who says TV cannot be used as monitor.
For all people who hear-says no no no, I wish you did not really hook up your PC to the "PC port" on your TV and declare failure.

I'm running it on a geoforce 8600 gts. But, because it is my 3rd monitor for the cpu I ordered a MSI N660 TF 2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support for $229 after rebate. It looks like the monitor is on back order.
