..in case you didn't see this at 1:30am.

Thanks. Been waiting for this the HD at $39.

Thanks! Got one for my Dad.

Thanks OP, in for 1.

Do you think this will sell out quick today? I am thinking of just going to Best Buy tomorrow to try and pick it up and if it is not available then just order it on Amazon.

Does this have Cinavia?

got one. Good deal!

Thanks! Snagged one...

Wireless only! No ethernet. Oh well.

Max 3 per Amazon acct. grrrr

Got one! Love the first one we got for the bedroom! This one is going to go up in the bonus room. Thanks OP!

Free 1-day shipping if you use Discover card and promo code DSCVRHSP

Ordered an HD and XD. Discover code only worked on the more expensive one.

The 2 XS has ethernet.

What are the major differences between different models....which one is good deal? Sorry for asking newbie question.

If you go to the product description on Amazon, you'll see a chart that identifies the main features and differences between the models.

Anyone know if it includes 6 months of Hulu Plus? On Roku website it shows HD model with 6 months of Hulu Plus for $79.

But which one is considered a good sale out of 3 models...why is HD model popular...is it because it's only $39 and people don't really care for 1080p?

Twice the price for ethernet. BOO!

nice. ordered 2. 1 is for outside tv where hot tub is.

what do you use this for, I don't see a usb port.
so it can play only web content, the TV's we have both have
web apps, we watch Netflix movies on them just fine.
also on TV's there is free content except for some shows.
What will I get more with Roku.
I searched google and looked at rokus web site cant get the answer.

bb has the same price.. if you are going to use discover card

hey---itsme---you stream the content to your tv. so you can watch Netflix, hulu, etc. on your tv, rather than your pc. has the video cables to connect to the tv.

Search for Roku Channels. Proabably has more content than what you get on your Smart TV.

You can run plex and get the plex channel to stream content from your home network.

The first generation XD had a better remote than the HD. I like having the option of 1080p, although not much content available. Just trying it on for size? The HD would be a good start. We no longer have cable. We're okay with OTA, Roku, and internet.

TV already has Netflix, hulu support, I don't stream via a pc.

TV's already have plex client, at least LG does. I am guessing any web integrated TV will have it.

Yeah, but like my cable TV, 90% of it is total crap.

Does Amazon refund full money if for some reason I am not happy and want to return it? Any charges for shipping for return shipping?

Do these boxes really get that many channels? I am trying to get rid of my cable TV and all the fees, but don't know if these get live sports and etc. Why would I buy one of these instead of a blu-ray player that gets Netflix and etc.? For about the same price, I can also play DVDs Thanks.

Knocked another Christmas gift out of the way.

I think it might be easier to explain what I'll be missing by cutting the cable and switching to this.

some say channels, don't confuse it with live channels.
it has news and commentary from 99% of channels.
most of the channels listed only have audio podcasts.

you miss live channels, the channels listed do not have any full episodes.
for instance cnn has radio programs on it, nbc news has 2 minutes news segments.
yes you can watch full programs via Hulu Plus, but need to pay for it.
You pay for this device, to watch stuff you pay again.
Crackle is free to watch and Aljazeera is live too.

In 4 1 HD. TY OP

I wonder how many channels are decent and free, wish there was some cost benefit analysis of all the streaming services.

Will this let me watch YouTube videos on my tv?
