My old Wii died and I assume this Wii U will still play all of my old Wii games. Does someone know why it says Wii U on the web site and if it will play my Wii games?

Well, my early morning (not too early) departure to WalMart to get this was a total waste. Spent the gas, no CB so has to go down as a fail but who knew?
