Ripoff even it is limited to 5000 $360 is way to much

Perfect for the huge Star Wars nerd out there.....

It isn't $360. I was using that for comparison because without this sale Amazon was quite a bit cheaper than the publisher.

I'm sure you would still say it is a ripoff, but it looks like they've sold a good number of the $1000 versions, and since there is nothing anywhere that compares to this, you don't really have any idea how much it is worth to some people.

BTW, I'm not buying one at this price, but if it dropped again I would probably bite.

Someday we will see this on Pawn Stars:

"What are you looking to do, sell it or pawn it?"

"I want to sell it"

"How much you looking to get?"

"I'll take $20,000 for it."

"Well, it's a cool piece, and there's a lot of collectors out there, but it's not that rare, I can give you 50 bucks...."

Sorry OP, it is cool, I just couldn't resist.... Green for you!

Did anyone notice the weight on Amazon? 30.6 Pounds. This isn't just a "normal" book.

Looks like Amazon has sold 3 since the price dropped there--these people have lost a combined $330 by not paying attention to deal sites

I'll be on the bargain bin at the local B&N for $5 next year... I'm a fan, but not stupid...

Maybe Lucas didn't get enough money when selling to the mouse? Or the mouse needs to recoup the money?
