In for one also did some research and since I'm buying this for an I5 powered laptop there is no benefit from going to to the faster memory ($13 more) available as the proc will not use it making this a better deal.

Yea for a intel machine the intel video card is to slow to use the extra memory speed.
But if you buy a AMD machine then 1600 or faster will help a lot.
