True, but both are sold by TigerDirect (or in Buy.com's case, CircuitCity, which is owned by TigerDirect). Good if you are more comfortable buying from either merchant, but TD has the highest CB rate of the three.

Amazon(and/or Buy.com) is more flexible in returning items. TD is having bad name when it comes dealing with customers directly.

Just so anyone knows, 16" is really small. Pretty much like a laptop display. The price isn't that great either. Around 3 years ago? I picked up two brand new 16" widescreen LCD Monitors for $60 each. Yeah I know it wasn't LED Backlit but is doesn't really make all that difference. I think the brand was like Acer or something.

yes there is a $7 mcu than can output VGA with only 6 resistors.
