Compound action = more power. Apparently the blade on this thing has some kind of slippery coating to improve cutting. Wonder if that means can't sharpen it?

I just noticed that Sears also carries a heavy-duty bypass lopper (but no compound action) for about 3x as much. Can't tell if that has steel or fiberglass handles. Some wish those had longer handles and/or compound action as well.
