I'm on the east coast lad, anyway it's clearly stated that it is EST. If you read my post it states that yes the price is live, it was live previous to 12am, but if you click to the rebate site and enter the code, it says offer not found. Idk why the post time came up as 11pm, my comp clock said 12am when I posted.

I don't think it will work with the DVR. It needs an external power source to work with that. bummer Don't know about network. I suspect it won't cause it needs the pc to power it.

Yep. EHDs for Dish receivers need an external power source. I've read that some have had success with USB powered drives, but it is not recommended.
