I've been buying this style new balance shoe for at least 15 years...isn't this the going price for this style? I have never paid over $30 this this sneaker.

True, but $30 isn't worth the same as it was 15 years ago, and this is the 'v3' of this shoe

New Balance quality has gone down so much, I am now scared to even try them. Version 3 probably means thinner, cheaper, less shock absorbance. etc.

new balance used to be my to-go brand coz most of them are made in the US of A. Now I can hardly find one. if it's gonna be made in china vietnam and indonesia anyway then i'll go get me other brands and browse for more choices and prices coz all the brands come from the exact same factory with just different labels.
