for $399, the price is very fair. The new A6 AMD processors are not bad at all. And an Intel i5 is just an i3 with some occasional turbo boost. An Intel i7 is much better, but 99% of PC users will never need OR EVEN NOTICE the difference an i7 provides...and an i7 costs about $200+ more.
Also, the AMD discrete graphics card is waaaaaaaaay better the all-so-common and junky Intel 4000 graphics (which is not discrete, btw).
$399 is decent deal. $299 would be an amazingly awesome deal.

To be fair, the AMD doesn't have discrete graphics either. "Discrete-class graphics" is just their fancy new way of saying "integrated" (that doesn't suck as bad as old integrated did).
