4.4/5.0 (85 reviews)

Main Features: LED, 1080p, 120 Hz, Smart TV, 4 HDMI inputs

Width: 39-3/8"

This is getting a bit away from the $500 mark, but you're getting 10% more viewing area than the 40" Samsung I posted yesterday(?) for a little less than 10% more. You're also getting Smart TV features. There might be better deals available, but this at least will save someone from having to click all the way to checkout to see the price.

Edit: Updated to promote Amazon deal. Alternatively, consider the LG 47" at WalMart for $50 more ($150 more if you consider the Amazon credit)

Edit: $25 credit at Best Buy for store pick-up only -- reference http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/1241220/ (offer expiring 12/8)

The 47'LG via WalMart is a much better deal. (50$ gets you 5 in and a much high quality higher rated/reviewed set)

You can knock off an extra $20 if you use AMEX Sync w/Facebook. There's an offer for $20 off $200 or more Best Buy purchase.

Final price is still $547.99, but you'll receive $100 in promotional Amazon credit to be applied to your account within seven days of product shipment. You'll see it on the final Review Your Order page.

Fine Print said: Congratulations. Your purchase has qualified you for a $100 promotional credit toward the purchase of items shipped and sold by Amazon.com (certain exclusions apply, including Kindle books, MP3s, and video rentals and downloads). The credit will be applied directly to your Amazon.com account within seven days after your product ships, once processing is complete. The promotional credit expires March 31, 2013.

If you plan to make an additional purchase by then, I think you have to do go this way. Even if you didn't, you'll save tax (unless you're in a state for which Amazon already is collecting tax, or in a no-sales-tax state like DE).

Nice find, patelrs!

If you prefer to BB to Amzn for some reason, you can take advantage of in-store pick-up deal to get $25 credit. (credit to fivetalents for post)

Amazon offer for $100 promotional credit expires today. (This applies to other Panasonic Viera sets as well.)

FYI, this set doesn't have built-in Wifi -- it requires an extra adapter (~$60). At that point it probably makes more sense to pick up a Roku.

Back at Amazon Today $549.99 shipped with prime. I have one and it has a great picture, and is a great value at this price point.

Amazon, Best Buy, and WallMart, which one should I pick?
