How long does it take to process? It's been "In Process" for a while.

Is https://chilis.cashstar.com not eligible for the FW CashBack even though the gift card goes through ? Either site should be ok right ?

Thank you for the help, its appreciated.

All six of my Cash Back click throughs are showing in my account.

Cash Back History
Disclaimer
When I click through on my computer, the click history shows up as "Chili's eGift Card Cash Back Link"

but when I click through on my Android phone, it shows up as "$5 Cash Back w/Purchase of $10+ Chili's eGift Card"

I hope I get Cash Back on all my purchases.

After several years of having no trouble with FW Cash Back, in the last few days I've not been able to get put through to the merchant's website from FW - I end up in limbo at an interim FW screen that I never used to see. This has to be something that was changed by either Microsoft or Norton, because I haven't done anything to change my settings.

I figured it was something specific to Internet Explorer, so I spent half an hour setting up Google Chrome in order to get this Chili's deal. Finally got everything set up, cookies wiped, blank slate, signed into FW, clicked on the deal, got sent to merchant site (that "cashstar" one), personalized the gift card, entered all the contact and payment details, then...

This message appeared the VERY split-second that I pressed the "purchase" button: "We're sorry, but this transaction has been declined. If you continue to have this problem please contact customer support."

It didn't seem possible that they could have tried to submit the purchase to my credit card and received a rejection so instantaneously. ? That credit card has been working fine this evening.

This happened the first time I tried to buy this gift card, so it's not like multiple purchases had tripped an alert in their system.

update:

I have checked my credit card statement online and the $10 for this gift card had been deducted and immediately credited back. The credit card is fine - plenty of balance left on it. There was no "suspicious activity" alert from the credit card company, so I can only assume that the gift card company was the party responsible for the immediate reversal of the charge. Why would they do that on a new customer's first order? What is the point of selling online if you are not going to accept innocent purchases by legitimate customers for small amounts?

Well, they seem to be a bit screwed up in *several* ways regarding this CashBack deal. ...I'm probably lucky that I couldn't buy a card in the first place.

I have not gotten those problems, but for this deal. If you want to order more than one, and you are redirected to chilli's web site, then you could use another computer. I order three $10 eGift cards, and for each one I had to use a different computer to get to the direct link. After using each computer once, I was redirected to chilli's web site and not to the direct link. I didn't want to clean my Cache and history, so I used my kids' computers for each order.

Is this FW Cash Back?
If 5 orders, each is 1 $10 card, then it is 5 $5 Cash backs?

DISREGARD this, in further reading I got my answer

If sending 5 of the $10 gift cards to one person (I will get 5 $5 FW cash)
can they use all 5 at 1 time?

Did five. Cleared cookies and started with a fresh FW login each time. Used Discover Secure Online Account Numbers (one time card numbers) feature to avoid getting flagged like some described in the thread. Even if the CB doesn't work on all five, still just paid for a family dinner at Chili's in advance but of course hoping to get $25 off of $50!

Has anyone actually seen the money back yet?

It will be there, stores do not all report buys the same day or next.
And since it was a post by FW, I would say they are guaranteeing the deal.

Don't count on it - from FW questions and answers

"How long will I have to wait for money to show in my Cash Back account?
While most merchants report in just a few days, others may take up to 2 weeks from the SHIPPING date. Nothing will show in your account until the merchant reports to us, so please do not worry (or send a support request) until 2 weeks after your ENTIRE order has been shipped. If you still don't see anything, then please send us complete order information on a Support Request. We must receive such requests within 60 days to be able to do a full investigation.
We'll help if we can but the bottom line is this:
If we do not get paid by the merchant, we do not pay you.

Same here (five of mine) along with a few click throughs where I didn't purchase.

MVP -Any update ? Either landing site https://chilis.cashstar.com or chilis.com should be eligible for the FW CashBack as the gift card goes through and the click is reported for both anyway, right ?

We know all clicks have shown on our FW accounts,
and we all know the stores can take a few days to report the sale.

Used my comcast e-mail account for four - no issues (GC arrived in a few minutes). Used a Gmail account for one, and still waiting. Weird, and kinda sucks - I want to use all five before the Steelers game today....

just did 4 and had to clear my cookies each time. $40 for $60 is good.

Last night I sent a message about my issue (described in my post above) to the moderator who earlier in this thread said he had contacted Chilis about the previous irregularities of the click-throughs, and he wrote back and said that he had not heard of this happening to anyone, and asked if I had tried a second time.

So tonight I tried this again - all cookies erased, CCleaner run, computer started from being turned off, used Chrome browser since IE won't let me do FW CashBack anymore, logged into FW, clicked through to the offer, got the "leave yourself a note" pop-up window, was taken to the cashstar site, filled in the giftcard personalization, filled in my address and payment details - including a different credit card number from last time, clicked to purchase, and immediately got the message "We're sorry, but this transaction has been declined."

Their customer service seems to only be open Mon-Fri, so there was no one I could call.

My credit cards are working fine, I've never ordered from this company before (neither Cashstar nor Chilis), my very first purchase attempt of a $10 gift card was immediately refunded/denied so it's not like I tried to do several in a row... I don't know what the problem is.

Maybe my intended-gift-recipient relative is being averted from an episode of food poisoning, who knows.

---
By the way, they have my email address as part of the purchaser contact details, yet their system has not emailed me to let me know there was a problem with the order from last night, nor to ask me to call their customer service dept for help, nor to invite me to try again.

I don't get the reason for the Cache and cookies needing to be deleted.

Just ordered my first one. went through no issues. email arrived within 2 minutes Turms out Monday night is a gids eat free night.

ordered 1 the other day, still no CashBack reported so going to wait to buy anymore on this....

WM buys on the 15th are reported

Yes. I got my Cash Back notice on both. You will get it as long as you click thru the link first. I got mine plus 10% off plus 5% for using Discover and $5 Cash Back.

I think you're confusing Clickthrough History with CashBack being reported. I don't believe the merchant has reported CashBack to FW yet. Clickthrough History is meaningless... it just shows you clicked a link.

In for 10 so far. Thanks OP.Can use them for banquet room or catering, too( did at Maggiano's last year, ymmv).

What Cynics. FW has personally sponsored this deal. GREEN!. In for 10.

I am going to buy some of these. But, not until Fatwallet and the merchant clarifies the issues everyone is having. Otrherwise it is a great deal, but not if we do not get the CashBack!

A lot of gift cards end up going unused (misplaced, forgotten, etc), and I would imagine an even larger percentage of e-giftcards end up going un-used, as well as being less expensive to provide (no physical gift cards to produce, no postage costs to mail), so companies are probably trying to encourage more folks to use e-giftcards these days. This is a good promotion to do that...hope it ends well for everyone.

Can't understand all the doom & gloom. If you eat there anyway you have nothing to lose by buying 4 or 5 of these (on separate orders of course).
The best case is you get 50% off, the worst case is you only get 10% off (assuming you buy 5 or less).

Cash Back reporting is going to be a little slower for this one than everyone is used to seeing. There's no reason you shouldn't see it within the 14 days.

We are not aware of any issues in regards to the difference in landing some of you are seeing, but we are still waiting on confirmation for this.

In for one, but regardless of what measures I take (logging off FW, clearing Cache, restarting firefox) I continue to be clicked onto Chili's website on all subsequent clicks. Will we be paid the $5 if on subsequent orders we get them through Chili's?

Thanks for the post. I purchased 2 over the weekend.

Where is this 10% discount coming from?
