Bought a 47 inch LG G2 for $749 at Microcenter last night. The advertised price in the store was $799, the sales rep said the price was knocked down to $749. Also, LG is running an offer for a free COD Black Ops 2 ( any platform ) with the purchase of a 3D TV.

So, I got the TV + Black Ops 2 for PS3 for $749 + tax.

I havent seen this posted on the forums, not sure if its not really a deal or nobody knows about it..

Anyways, here is the link of the TV on Amazon ( for reference only ) :

Since this has GoogleTV does the browser block out the ABC+Disney/CBS/NBC/... websites?

Great price for a Google TV. Where was this? Not available in any stores NY/NJ. Not available online.

OP by any chance you have the price info on th 55" model? TIA

This was in MN.

55'' was $999.

Hey guys,

Just chiming in to let you know I couldn't find the 47g2 at Microcenter (MN). It's because they have it stocked under the LG part number: 47LMG620. It still doesn't show up on their website (but DID on their internal inventory) so you might have to call. The MN store has it for $799. Sadly, no free COD. I picked it up anyway.

Isn't WalMart's 55" LED HDTV for $799.98 a better deal? Or Fry's LG 47" HDTV LED 3D (LM4600) for $549 with a free shipping? Roku only costs $50 or better yet just get Blu-Ray Player that can stream.

Only if that's what you're looking for. This thread was about the G2 series google TVs.

I have a G1 set and they are still blocked on it as well as Hulu and some of the other good movie sites. Netflix and Crackle work flawlessly as do youtube and other sites.

I've been watching the price of this particular TV because I think it's gorgeous. I still intend to hook up my Sony SMP players to it (I bought several extra for that purpose) so I can get Hulu Plus and other content. I'd be interested in how the OP likes the picture of the set. The Sony set I have is beautiful even though it's a 60HZ panel as well.
