I have a PDF printout of the 2014 expiration date and will try getting them to honor it should my account mysteriously close on 01/01/2013.

Only time will tell, I suppose.

Under my acct, it says "Your membership will automatically renew on 12/31/2012."
Still don't have my cc info on file. Is it even worth the trouble to cancel and renew?

Thanks, but it seems they don't have an expiration on my acct and I'm fearful cancelling and renewing will reduce it to 15 mths. Did others show an expiration prior? Or did it say "automatic renewal" like mine?

I just did it, but my previous expiration was 2/27/13 now it is 12/27/13 and can add 90 more days by giving them access to email account.
Having an alternative sr for the next year the main advantage for this was in keeping the order history.

Open a new account under another email address, then. If your credit card is attached to your current account, though, you really should change the account from "automatically renew" unless you are sure that you want to pay for your next year of the service. Just because your renewal date doesn't seem to be showing doesn't necessarily mean that you don't have one.

Thanks, canceled and renewed! Doing the ShopRunnerCentral thing with my Yahoo account for the bonus 3 months. I've had this account since like 1996, so it may take FOREVER while it searches my order history, for stores that no longer exist!

Thank You. Shoprunner had extended my membership until the end of the year, and I was going to let it expire. I've just cancelled and re-signed up with my history intact.

Lol. My original 1-yr free trial was set to end on Jan 11, 2013. Kept getting scary emails from them asking for a credit card. I just canceled my membership and re-signed up for another year under the same email. I'm sure Shoprunn3r is sad and N3wegg happy. Nice!

Without ever doing anything, I just got an email from them with a subject, Your Membership Has Been Extended!‏ They have extended my membership for another year for free anyway. Mine will be expired tomorrow 12/31 but today they notify me that they just added another 12 months into my account.
I logged in and noticed the expiration has been updated to 12/31/2013.
I did not have to do anything. My account was not set to renew automatically and it does not have CC info.

Seems they have added 1 year to memberships (link) including those that already cancelled/renewed using this promo code deal.

Mine also now says expires 03/19/2015 (was originally 03/19/2014 after I did the one-year renewal + 3 month deal in this thread).

They must not have a grasp on how to convert free subs into paying ones. Here's an idea: make it $19/year. I know, it's still money, but charging the same as Prime with only one of the benefits (shipping only) isn't a great value proposition. I'm no CEO, but lowering the price would get me to pay...but not at the current price. I just don't use it as much as Prime. Not even close.

I also cancelled an re-registered the same email id with Shop Runner using the code RUNNER, I got free membership till 12/20/2013. With Shoprunner auto upgrade to current members I got one more year which extended my membership till 12/20/2014. Added my email id to Shoprunner centeral which extended the membership for another 30 days.
totally now I have free Shoprunner membership till 3/20/15.

I was trying to decide if I should cancel, and renew, or sign up on my other email. E-mail came this morning extending for one year, should be Jan, 2013, without doing anything.
