Do not buy this tablet; it's pretty much a paper weight. It functions okay as a reader but it's considerably thicker and heavier than other readers at a similar price point. Velocity promotes this product as a tablet but features such as email, Internet, and Android apps, which are extremely limited, do not work. Accessing the Internet is EXTREMELY slow and any browser used systematically shuts down after about a minute. There is no real fix for the browser problem, which Velocity indicates on its website.

I bought one a while back from Woot to use as a cheap Wifi connected photo frame. It has decent resolution, 4:3 aspect ratio, and it came with a nice stand when I bought it. Side load the JustPictures app and it works pretty good as a digital frame that streams pictures from my picasa account.
